Ddeb’s-A Taste of Home is my favorite restaurant because the food is just amazing and the service is great. Deb is a wonderful hostess and always makes us feel welcomed. She checks frequently to make sure our dining experience is up to standards. Come here for the best she-crab soup you’ve ever tasted. The menu offers something for everyone. Some of my favorites include meatloaf, crab cakes, shrimp and grits, beef stroganoff and liver & onions. The food is just wonderful, even the side dishes are first rate. I love the creme brulee and the lemon berry mascarpone cake are my favorite desserts.

The most quaint restaurant in Great Bridge, tucked in with a beautiful neighborhood. The food is absolutely amazing and there are wonderful gluten free options to choose from too! Highly recommend you try Ddeb’s out

A fan since day 1. I enjoy the small, cozy atmosphere and the convenience of close to home. The staff are efficient and courteous and Chef Stan usually makes an appearance to say hello as well. The entire menu is delicious but my go to favorites are the Chicken and Dumplings or Shrimp Salad Sandwich. The owner, Debbie, is also on hand to help seat, serve, and ensure you’re taken care of. Debbie is a good community steward, having monthly charity benefits and feeding those less fortunate at holidays.

This place has amazing food and a great staff that is fun and will cater to what you need. If Deb is there she will also help with the kids so that Mom and Dad can eat which is a nice touch!

My favorite place to eat. The food is nothing short of amazing. The creme brûlée is out of this world. Deb is such a wonderful woman and my kids love her. Whenever we have family come into town, we always go there. Also, I always recommend Deb’s to all my friends!!!

This place is the best kept secret in Chesapeake. I’ve been numerous times for lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is wonderful. The service is always courteous and personable. If you’re EVER in Chesapeake, do yourself a favor and check this place out!! Love, love, LOVE this place!

Heard about DDeb’s from a friend, went the first time to support Deb as a new restaurant. Fell in love with the food, Deb, the chef and the staff. Such a sweet, quaint place. If you haven’t been, make plans now!!
