I visited the Animal Shelter for the first time this past month and was impressed with how kind and caring the staff was with the animals on site.
I can only imagine how relieved a lost or stray dog must feel once being brought to such a safe and warm environment.

When my old sick cat was taken in by mistake they let me visit him while I had to make the tough decision to end his suffering and have him humanely euthanized.

Chico City Animal Shelter is very welcoming of new volunteers and are happy to work with everyone. They truly care about their animals, especially the long timers who still deserve a chance.

I appreciate the Chico Animal Shelter because it is full of loving and hard working staff members. I once adopted a kitten and was amazed to receive a follow up note card. I was so impressed I wrote a letter to the ER.

I love the Chico Animal shelter because while I got to volunteer there for school I learned SO much and I’ll never forget all of the super friendly staff who treat you and ALL of the animals with love and respect.
