The Vetting Zoo

Everyone in the office loves on every pet brought in, very compassionate and caring staff. Hours are great and they are one of very few vets that make house calls if needed. Prices are good too!

Amazing people that do great things! Such a wonderful all-around! I recommend them to everyone!

What I love about The Vetting Zoo is that they not only provide the best medical treatment to my pets, but also to the many community cats and ferals that I have been feeding and providing shelter for for a number of years. Not many veterinary practices offer their services to feral cats . . . The Vetting Zoo does and they do so with the utmost compassion and care for that animal. When I call to make an appointment, they listen to my concerns about my pet and get me scheduled to have my pet, as well as my colony cats, checked out asap. Also, as President of the Steelton Community Cats Trap/Neuter/Return organization and on behalf of our Board and the many volunteers who devote their time and energy to our organization, we are so grateful and appreciative to TVZ for their volunteerism to our program. Since 2012, TVZ has been the veterinary medical provider for the many, many thousands of community cats that have come through our program. Their services include the spay/neuter/vaccinations as well as many other extensive medical procedures (wound treatment, eye enucleations, dental surgery, limb amputations, etc.) for all these cats. TVZ has always been either just a phone call, an e-mail, or a text message away for our organization to obtain medical care for community cats in dire need of immediate medical attention. Also, TVZ is a community-oriented veterinary practice because they also help our organization, as well as other animal non-profit organizations, with fundraising efforts through the monthly Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic for Cats & Dogs in which they provide the veterinary services. When you talk about compassion and caring, you are talking TVZ!

Because they love what they do!

They are willing to come to your home to give your pet an examine! Makes it easier for folks with large or multiple pets. They get right on the floor with the pets and love on them while the pet is examined. You can tell that they truly love what they are doing. We are VERY happy!!!

This practice goes above and beyond call of duty for the animals and owners. House call service a godsend for those that need it.

I have never found a veterinary practice with sweeter people than the vetting zoo. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they genuinely care about you and your pet. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my baby, Ghost.

The Vetting Zoo is the best place to take your pets. Everyone is so kind and caring from the moment you walk in. Even though my cat, does not enjoy going to the vet, I know he is always in good hands.

I love the care and attention given to my 2 kitties, Trooper and Scout. The Drs. take the time to explain everything and answer all your questions. The rest of the staff at the Vetting Zoo is great also. I especially love that they have mobile visits; which means we don’t have to try to get kitties in carrier and take them to TVZ. They can stay in their own home and still get the great care that TVZ offers. I also like the fact that they are involved with 3 area rescues, cat and dog, and volunteer for low cost clinics 3 weekends a month. That’s how caring they are!!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else…..
