I have three little dogs and when Hope showed up at our door as a puppy we just fell in love but six months later the mini Doberman we had just wouldn’t leave her alone and Hope being three times her size really took a lot but eventually Got her good and we had to make the hardest decision to take her 160 miles away to Paws we had heard so many good things and Hope was an awesome dog They loved her and cared for her for a year before finding her forever home but they never gave up on her I still cry missing her and for so long I got to see her videos made me so happy but at least I know she is in a good home the people at Paws are just the very best

The staff at PAWS is all about what’s best for their furry friends, and making sure they go to good homes with people who will love them.
They get to know their animals, love them, and take excellent care of them. They’re very good at interacting with the public, and make sure we’re aware of special events and any needs that the shelter has.
These people rock and they’re a blessing to the community!

I had the best experience with Paws when I adopted Reese. They took there time to make sure this was the best home for the dog. I see where they take the time to have personal contact with each animal everyday and this is key to getting these stray animal great homes. All the employees are as polite and friendly as can be. Very impressive shelter to visit.

I actually volunteer at PAWS. This is the cleanest, most humane shelter I have ever encountered. The animals are happy to be there and happy to return for a visit after they have found their permanent homes. Every animal at PAWS gets to enjoy freedom from their pens every day, quality food, medications if they need them, and regular human interaction many, many times everyday. I witness this time and again EVERY time I visit PAWS. I cannot imagine any other establishment giving any better “pet services” than what these sweet babies get at PAWS.
