I have adopted 4 dogs over the last 11 years from the Animal Protection League. I am also a volunteer with them. I would not continue to work with them if they did not do a great job helping animals get a second or third chance for a happy life. It is a dedicated group of people that truly have the best interests of the animals foremost in their minds!

We adopted our Kodiak from them , and the following year attended the October event at the fairgrounds and adopted a very scared black lab that someone had just that day dropped off . He was cowering in the back of the kennel and I told my little girl absolutely do not go back there , the minute I turned around, she had her whole arm stuck in there and he was shyly licking her hand . We took him home and now Maverick and Kodiak are about 14 years old. This organization is Amazing !!

We got our dog, Chumly, through this organization two years ago. He is by far the most amazing dog I’ve ever had in my life! They are an organization that cares about each animal that comes in and ensures they go to the best homes.

We adopted from this organization a few years ago and gave a petrified little boy a happy home. I also attend their fundraisers every year that result in lots of money being raised for needy dogs and cats! They are a non profit and everything they raise goes to the animals and caring for them!

They always take good care of their rescues. they have gone above and beyond to save a dogs life.
