HBCT truly cares about making a match. They work with the community and develop relationships with trainers, local veterinarians, and the community to get people aware and motivated to help rescue animals in need.

They do wonderful things for dogs. They have dog adoptions and find forever homes for all these dogs that are in shelters. They put their heart and soul into finding the right homes. There are happy people and dogs when they go home to a loving family.

I adopted my best friend from them and I have never been happier. They really have a great process you have to go thru before you are approved. Everyone I came in contact with were wonderful.

These volunteers are angels. I adopted my dog through one of their events and couldn’t have been happier about the steps to protect the dogs, while creating a great experience for the adopter. Thank you!

HBCT and its volunteers are “good people” and put the needs of the shelter dogs that they are involved with FIRST. They have created a spay-neuter program to help reduce unwanted litters of dogs for dogs adopted from CT shelters. They make donations to other rescues so that those rescues can continue their missions.
