I am a Fan because Emerald City Tattoos is the 2nd oldest Tattoo Shop in Seattle, and it is owned by Aaron and Tony, who also happen to be my mentors who got me started in the Tattoo World and I owe everything that I\’ve learnt in this Artform to them. Not to mention how humble and sweet they are after mentoring lots of people like me, some who have turned out to be strong names in the Tattoo Industry in Seattle. Big ups Emerald City.

There are multiple reasons why I recommend Emerald City Tattoo; atmosphere, cleanliness, knowledge, and artists. When I was looking for a new shop I based my criteria on overall appeal of the shop, cleanliness, staff attitude, cost, procedure (regarding needles, gloves, sterilization, etc), and off their portfolios. Reviews online also had some bearing on my decision. I’ve been tattooed by 3 artists at Emerald City Tattoo. Alex was my original artist, he did three pieces for me, one for my father in-law, one for my mother, and another for a friend. When he left to pursue other aspirations Tony added to one of Alex’s pieces. Recently Andy executed a very lovely piece for me. My preference is traditional style which is right up his alley. Even though I pass out every time I get a tattoo I can’t say that I’ve had a bad experience here. They’ve always been accommodating, attentive, and friendly.

I’ve had 4 tattoos done at Emerald City. The artists are all very professional and create absolutely incredible pieces. I recommend the shop any time people are looking to get new ink.

I have had 6 tattoos done at Emerald City by Anthony Johns and they are all stunningly beautiful and amazing! The whole crew there are professional and talented and respectful. I have and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family! They are a superior shop!
