We adopted Shadow (Ruger) & Jocee (Hope) and they are both wonderful pets. They love everyone they meet. The staff know their pets well and are great people.

When I adopted our sweet and sassy chihuahua Ella from Beatrice Humane Society, I saw first-hand how dedicated the BHS folks are to compassionately caring for animals waiting for their fur-ever home. Our little chi came to BHS scared of everything and everyone, but they earned her trust and she blossomed under their care. I was so impressed, I chose to name Ella in their honor (the shelter was located on Ella St. back then). Thanks, Beatrice Humane Society, for taking such great care of our Ella, until she could join our family!
