I am a fan of Mindful Mutz because of Heather’s talent for understanding dogs, and helping pet parents to understand their pets. She helps bridge the gap in communication between pets and parents, and helps them share a better life.
She supports and serves our local pet rescues with her behavior and training services, and is a vital member of our pet community.
Heather has a way of making training and pet behavior management less scary and easier to understand for all pet parents.

Heather has helped so many dogs, including mine, become more of what they are meant to be. Confident and loving. My scared dog is such a love bug. But if you met him a year ago you wouldn’t believe it. While he still has some work to do, we’ve come so far thanks to Heather and her wonderful techniques and understanding of dog behavior.

I am a fan of Mindful Mutz because Heather Polechio is a business owner with integrity who never stops improving her knowledge base on dog training . I would reccomend her as an expert dog trainer without hesitation . I have known Ms. Polechio for over 14 years and can attest to her honesty , intellectual curiosity about animal behavior and her deep love of all animals , especially dogs !

Heather is amazing. Any of our patients that have a pet that is displaying signs of needing behavior training, she is our first choice. All of the clients that have used her tell us how much they loved her. And she’s provided our staff with great training in how to be safe with our patients. She is the BEST!
