The mission of 2 Home Cooks is to provide our guests with delicious and unique, homemade breakfast and lunch dishes using fresh, local food sources whenever possible, in an atmosphere that feels like family and friends gathering in our home kitchen.
In a traditional Italian family, food is almost always the main focal point of every gathering. We both have a passion for cooking and entertaining, and felt that Dover needed a fresh take on breakfast and lunch.
Our goal is to combine our fresh, locally produced, great ingredients to create simple dishes. We locally source our food whenever possible, and most of our menu items are made from scratch, whether in our own kitchen, or in the case of breakfast and sandwich breads, in local bakeries like Stone House Bakery in Barrington.
Our open concept kitchen allows our guests to watch us cook for them and lets us get more involved in our guests’ dining experience. We want you to feel like you are stepping into our home kitchen when you come to 2 Home Cooks.

Helen and her staff are truly amazing. They greet you with such a warm welcome from the minute you walk in their doors. We have done a couple of events with them and the food is just amazing. A definite go to when in Dover~

Genuine hospitality from the minute you walk in the doors. Helen and her staff have an amazingly fun time and want you to feel like you are in your home kitchen. Helen is making the biscuits fresh and hot at 2:30am every morning as her corn beef roasts for 12 hours overnight. The food at 2 Home Cooks is made with love.
