Amazing, friendly and very informative. I felt right at home and very comfortable with the team here. Very excited that I found my new dentist!

I am age 70 and have been with Dr. Arellano for more than 15 years. He is the only dentist I have seen who is happy to present his approach to dentistry. And he is the only dentist I have ever called, “my dentist.” He is the only dentist to recommend a special cleaning program to prove if I know how to keep plaque off my teeth. (Now I do, and only have them cleaned twice a year.) I do not have insurance and he is more than kind about my time payments. I have severe emphysema, and after he recognized dental signs that I was experiencing sleep apnea, he encouraged me to speak with my brilliant immunologist, who in turn said she was so grateful. She ran her own nighttime breathing tests and now I am on oxygen at night. But things will get even better, because Medicare will cover several sleep apparatus and Dr. Arellano can arrange everything. His office staff is the absolute best. If you know you will have an upcoming procedure, they will let you make payments before the dental date! Dr. Arellano and his entire Office Team of Specialists are worth your time and money, and more importantly, will help you keep your teeth.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Arellano for about eight years, he’s the fourth dentist I’ve had in SF and I went through the first three in less than three years. So I’m particular to say the leat. I’ve had Dr. Arellano work on several crowns, a few fillings and even a tooth whitening job. Always as pleasant an experience as a visit to the dentist can be. He’s been ultra professional, quick, painless(!) and he’s an all around nice guy. Not too chatty, but very personable – just the right mix. The rest of the staff is awesome as well – from May (sp?) at the front desk always calling me with a reminder 24 hours before my appointment, to the highly competent staff of hygienists – they’re all total professionals at what they do. Would recommend Dr. Arellano and the staff to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I have been a patient at this office since 1986. Recently, I had an emergency on a Sunday, and Dr. Arellano called me back immediately, and met me in his office to attach a loose front tooth cap. The staff is exceedingly helpful and supportive. They are very proactive about preventative tooth care, and are aware of the latest innovations in all aspects of dental cosmetic procedures. I recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation!

I can’t let another moment go by without thanking you for the work you did on my smile this year. These veneers are so organic, so subtle, and so effective! This was truly money well spent. The holiday photos have just come back, and in every one of them, my smile is bright and confident-exactly what I asked you for! And these photos were taken in a casual situation, without controlled lighting – just imagine what this will look like on-camera in a professionally lit context!

Hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had. Thanks to a former co-worker’s recommendation, I’ve been in great care for the past 2 years. Like most, I am not a fan of dentists & the pain they seem to inflict on me, but Dr. Arellano is soooo goood. I usually brace myself every time I have to get a shot in the mouth, but just yesterday, he gave me the BEST SHOT EVER! He was elated that I told him too. It was super gentle. I asked if he changed his technique (not that the other shots were ever horrible… just not this good), but he just stated that different parts of the mouth require different levels of care due to sensitivity. In all other respects he is also awesome. And, his staff is amazingly nice & on point… Mei especially & I forget the dental assistant’s name that usually helps Dr. A (a young & very sweet Latina/White? chickadee). I also have Debbie as hygienist, and she is cool beans. She tells me how it is and what I need to do to make it better.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I want to share that my dental experience with Dr. Arellano, DDS, and Dr, Hahn, DDS, has been exceptional and their supporting staff both efficient and friendly. With my holistic slant toward medicine and dental care, the Doctors have provided excellent alternatives to support and improve my dental and overall health. I highly recommend their services.

Manny is very personable & polite. His gentle approach performing hygienist procedures placed me at ease. I mentioned that to Mei and she said he has received many compliments. With my recent visit to your office for routine cleaning and your web page , I had to make comment. He mentioned a veneer would cosmetically enhance the chips I have on my bottom 2 front teeth. I thanked him for the consultation and explained my situation of a previous attempt to repair them. His positive approach and demeanor is a value to and for your staffing.

My procedure was a repair for a chipped bonded tooth. Dr. Arellano and his assistants were very attentive during the procedure, and I was satisfied with the result. Dr. Arellona provides a comfortable environment that is friendly, and he always answers my questions whenever I have procedures done. I think the staff is very professional and I appreciate the reminder phone call I receive before my scheduled appointment. Overall, I am satisfied with the service I receive, both from the staff and Dr. Arellano.

For years I have gone down town for my dental cleanings thinking that the attention down there was the best. Today I went for a cleaning with Annie Lam at the office of Leo Arellano. She was careful, attentive and very nice. Although I am not a fan of teeth cleaning as I have gum recession, Annie made it easy and the staff throughout the office is cheerful. Best of all is how CLEAN the teeth are now. WOW! Thank you!

Initially, I thought commuting from Oakland to San Francisco to go to the dentist was absurd. However, I was thoroughly convinced after my first visit that traveling to the City was well worth it.

Leo is a wonderful dentist. He always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and what options are available. He enjoys his work, but also interacting with people. Mei in the office keeps everything running well. Most pleasant dentist office ever!

Every visit to Dr. Arellano’s office is a pleasure. From the welcoming reception staff to the hygienists to the great man himself, I feel completely cared for. His newsletters are both informative and entertaining. Dr. Arellano is not only extremely competent, but also very approachable as a person. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is truly interested in his patients’ lives.
