I came to Charlotte from Maine .unexpectedly in December \”for the winter\” to recuperate from illness. In a few days it will be September. I have been fighting Parkinsons Disease for 22 years. I did not know how ugly it would get, i do not know how I would cope without the love of my life, Wassokeag\’s \”Sunshine of the Night\” called Coleman, a yellow English Labrador Retriever who has been trained as a Mobility Assistance Service dog. He is by my side through sometimes painful sleepless nights and difficult days. He has limitless patience and love. He is ready to lick me until I get better. I arrived in Charlotte, scrawny and sickly on Dec 21 with Coleman in tow. I could not give him the exercise and attention he deserved and was used to. Then I heard about a beautiful young woman who lived nearby who ran a doggie daycare. That is how I met Maggie, owner of the Ruff Life. My Coleman is special, touched by God. Maggie is special, too. She is the \”real deal\”, no posturing or pretense, with a remarkable God-given ability to connect and communicate with dogs. Coleman liked her right away. He is always happy to see her. He runs off with her, too excited to look back. At the end of the day, Maggie brings him back, refreshed, exercised, energized and loved, ready to resume his life with me. In addition to her exceptional dog handiling talents, Maggie is intellectually bright, uses caution and has common sense. She always puts the safety of her charges first because she truly loves them. Your beloved pet could not be in better hands.

THe company is run by a very energetic competent young lady Maggie Ruff. WHo is totally dedicated to her clients and their 4 legged, sometimes 2 legged, babies. SHes the best!!!
