Palmer Distinctive Dentistry is amazing. My wife and I will never go anywhere else. The dentists and staff legitimately care about their patients. They are all incredibly nice, comforting, professional, and skilled. We feel at ease every second we are there. It’s really a happy, caring place. Not to mention, they are really on the cutting edge of dental health and offer amazing products, advice, and protocols that most other dentists don’t. I LOVE that they care about holistic health and keeping dangerous chemicals out of my mouth. What a huge plus! This place is a treasure!

I had a very nice experience as a new patient. Friendly and professional staff. Taylor did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth- very gentle but thorough. The atmosphere was superb and I felt very relaxed even though I was at “the dentist .”

We had a wonderful experience at Dr. Palmer’s office. We traveled 3.5 hours to see him, and both my husband and I ended up having work done with him. We both had infected root canals removed. My husband ended up regaining his sense of smell and taste that had been lost shortly after his root canal! He spent ten years without it; not realizing until much later down the line that the root canal had caused his issues. But within 24 hours of Dr. Palmer extracting the infected root canal; he was able to smell and taste fully again. He was so excited! The extraction process was so easy with Dr. Palmer! He does three days of vitamin C IVs, as well as using ozone and prf. I had two extractions done and felt almost no pain at all. In comparison with other extractions I’ve had previously; this was *so* much easier, and no need for antibiotics. Everyone we encountered in his office made us feel right at home. We loved the office so much we plan to continue our dental care there. Dr. Palmer shows great care for his patients, and his knowledge and skill are unmatched!

I haven’t been to a dentist’s office in over 20 years and was a little nervous to get a cleaning. I was welcomed with smiles and greetings as soon as i walked in the door and the staff was completely professional and made me feel totally comfortable. Taylor cleaned my teeth and she did an amazing job! I would give 100 stars if I could! Ill be back soon!!!

I have not been to the dentist in almost 4 years due to numerous bad experiences. But after much research I decided to make the 100 mile trip to try Palmer’s. In spite of my fear, I had a fabulous experience. I especially appreciate that I was not required to get x-rays. I haven’t had a cavity in over 40 years and have good teeth… just makes sense! The staff was professional and the hygienist did a terrific job. I’m so thankful to have found this office!

This office was very well trained for removal of my mercury fillings. I was very impressed by the precautions they took to prevent me from being exposed. (As well as themselves.) I found the cost reasonable and it was obvious they were well experienced in the procedure. It was a tiring process but she persevered and got all the mercury out. I am grateful for the opportunity to have myself cleansed in this way by such competent people!

Just moved to the area and discovered this WONDERFUL practice. I have been researching wholistic dentistry for several years and had VERY few options where we moved from. If I could put together the most ideal wholistically minded dentist/ oral health office, this would be it. We are continuing to work with Palmer on structural difficiencies that are causing sleep issues for my oldest child and sinus & bite issues for my other children. Grateful for these options of treatment that address the real issues – not beauty bandades. Their office puts you at ease and the doctor is good about discussing and explaining details. We can use our HHS for payment and help you submit with insurance.

There is no upselling of unnecessary services, and prices are equal to or better than many conventional practices. Once again, I received exemplary service! This time I received a full exam and cleaning, both of which were thorough. Their equipment is state of the art. My hygienist Taylor was so helpful, personable, and skilled. She and Dr. Palmer attentively responded to all my questions and concerns. I LOVE that the office is TRULY holistic. (I have discovered through trial and error that many dentists say they are but actually are not.) I feel very comfortable there and appreciate the uplifting colors and peaceful, respectful atmosphere. Don’t be deterred by Dr. Palmer’s unusual, seemingly impersonal “bedside manor.” He is very focused and on-purpose in his specific technical role in a patient’s dental care and treatment. He is not into flashiness nor fear-driven recommendations, and he will not try to upsell you on anything (that’s been my experience anyway) . . . all of which I have experienced from some other dentists. He considers his work to be his spiritual calling, which adds a palpable depth of meaning to the overall dental care experience Palmer Distinctive Dentistry provides. I consider everything I’ve mentioned in this review and more well worth the 90-minute one-way drive I make for their services.

I really look forward to my dental appointments here! From the time you walk through the door, the space and people there are so inviting. The wait time is never long. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They make recommendations to help with any dental problems but are not pushy. The purple decor is super relaxing and so is the music. I also love the verses they display on the walls. They even occasionally have fresh baked cookies (even gluten free ones!). Best dental office I’ve been to!

Palmer Distinctive Dentistry is top notch and like no other dentist I have ever been to. Their staff is extremely friendly, caring and gentle. What more could you ask for in a dentist? Their equipment is state of the art and can detect problems like gum disease before they become a real issue. My mouth and gums are extremely sensitive and I have not experienced any pain at all at Palmer.

Palmer Distinctive Dentistry is top notch and like no other dentist I have ever been to. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, caring and gentle. What more could you ask for in a dentist? Their equipment is state of the art and can detect problems like gum disease before they become a real issue. My mouth and gums are extremely sensitive and I have not experienced any pain at all at Palmer. I highly recommend them!

This dentistry takes exceptional care of their patients. Every time I have an appointment, I am always greeted with a smile and a great attitude and appreciate how personal every dentist is any time that I come. At this visit when I saw Karen, she made sure I was a priority and genuinely showed care for my family and I, in addition to providing great care for my teeth. That type of care really makes a difference and makes me want to come to the dentist. Thank you guys!!

The entire staff is super friendly and accommodating. They care about their patients and are very knowledgeable- I would say some of the top (if not the top) of their field. They answer all questions and make sure you are comfortable and have the best experience possible. They listen to their patients and address concerns efficiently and quickly. I had 5 amalgam fillings replaced at Palmer Distinctive Dentistry. I wasn’t having any problems but wanted the mercury out of my body. I have never been to an office where everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I can’t say the procedure was fun but I felt like they got the job done quickly and safely. I felt good knowing that the office was certified through the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. There is no way I would let a regular dentist do this procedure unless they were trained and certified. I would definitely recommend Dr Palmer and his associates to anyone looking to have their silver fillings replaced.

I have had a dental emergency and Palmer D. Dentistry has accommodated me same day, short notice. Dr. Knause and assistant Kristy were excellent. Very professional, compassionate, friendly dentist and staff. Why Palmer D. Dentistry? because they care enough not to use amalgam, fluoride, titanium. All metals that are not bio-friendly to human tissue, physiology. They use cutting edge technology such as laser therapy, etc… The practice seems very advance, clean, professional, and welcoming. Dr. Knause and assistant Kristy deserve 10 stars, PDD is lucky to have you. In short, great experience and I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who needs great dental care. Again, thank you PDD for all that you do.

So I was in severe pain when I arrived from Charlotte NC. From the moment I stepped in the door, I was greeted by Moriah like we were old friends. I was given a gift bag before doing paper work. Wow feels like I’m royalty! Doctor Knause and Darron had great chemistry and delivered SUPERB treatment. I really appreciate Dr. Knause for understanding my dental health and explaining my options, but also recommending what is best for me. If you appreciate great bed side manner and a clean state of the art facility with great professionals, then choose the best in the industry Palmer’s Distinctive Dentistry!

I was able to get a filling in about 10 mins with laser removal. There was no pain and I didn’t have to have any shots or medicine. That was a pleasant surprise. Palmer Holistic Denistry made everything clear- what to expect before the treatment, as well as how much it would cost. I was very impressed with the staff. Their knowledge, friendliness, and skill. Many times I have liked a Dr. but the staff have left much to be desired. Definitely not the case here!

After seeking a holistic dentist, I’m happy to have located Palmer Distinctive Dentistry. I mostly appreciate their use of non-mercury tooth fillings. The friendly staff is consistently hospitable and attentive to make me feel comfortable and valued. During a recent dental procedure when I became anxious and squirming, the doctor maintained a cool demeanor and calming voice, which aided with my own comfort. Palmer sells a number of products, such as an electric toothbrush, a hydrofloss flushing device, Palmer-produced toothpaste and mouth rinse, in addition to unexpected items such as a sleep apnea test ($200), dietary supplements to cleanse toxins from the body, to support the immune system or to relieve pain. Their office building appears upscale …which leads one to assume they must be thriving, successfully serving repeat customers and selling a lot of products and services. Palmer’s pricing for dental services appears to be average compared to my previous dentist’s invoices, however they don’t accept insurance payments. They require the customer to pay the entire bill up front, and the customer may file their own insurance claim. This policy is a bit of a bummer and an inconvenience, as I’m accustomed all medical providers handling/accepting the insurance claim payment for their customers. This causes repeated review on my part of insurance claim filing procedures, as well as taking dental insurance paperwork with me on my job (extended deployments away from home) to ensure I am reimbursed. However, overall I’m satisfied with the dental services provided.

Dr. Palmer’s practice is first class beginning with the friendly and very capable staff. The facility and technology seem to be state-of-the-art (although I’m not an expert!). Most of all, I’m a fan because of their belief in non-toxic dentistry. I’d recommend them to anyone!

Palmer is the best dentist office I have visited in my entire life. After multiple bad experiences, defective fillings falling out, and damaging cleanings I was afraid of dental work and apprehensive of trying a new dentist. From the moment I walked in the Palmer office I knew it was different. I ended up having to have a few emergancy extractions on my first visit due to high levels of infection from former botched dental work. The procedure was beyond excellent. Quick, effective, and they calmed my fears and made it a good experience! My healing time was crazy fast! Zero infection, pain diminished in record time, and by using natural treatments for infection I wasn’t required to take antibiotics! Since my first visit I have returned multiple times to Palmer Distictive for my children and my teeth concerns. We have continued to enjoy superb customer service and dental care. I would never step foot in another dentist office! We adore our dentist!!! Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best dental experience I have had in 25 years! I have had much damage done by dentists in the past, and was hesitant to once again put myself at the mercy of a new dentist. I was blown away by every part of my visit from the moment I walked in the door until I walked out after having 3 teeth extracted. Everything was performed to perfection, healing time has been incredible, and I will never visit another Dentist!!

Seeing your ad in the paper was certainly a stroke of luck for me. I am so glad I called. Thank you for consulting me and taking care of an annoying problem that very same day! It is so comforting to be in an office so warmly and thoughtfully appointed. As a clinician, I am most appreciative of the environment, and you have truly created a lovely space for people like me who are not fond of dental and medical waiting rooms! I also appreciate the patience with my claustrophobia and indecisiveness while in the chair. I am so used to advising and supporting others in their decisions and I simply could not think about what I needed to do. You were very kind about it. Thank you. I work in the health care field with patients, so my smile is very important! It puts patients at ease; after all it is the universal greeting. I have been a patient at Distinctive Dentistry for a little of a year, and what we have accomplished in that time is amazing! I had a crown on one of my front teeth done about 5 years ago. It stuck out, did not quite match my other teeth, and had a gray line along the gum line showing the metal from that of an old metal crown with porcelain overlay. In two short hours and no discomfort I had my crown replaced, and it looks fabulous! It is so natural looking and it no longer sits out farther than the rest of my teeth. My original crown work took 4 visits and a month to achieve and its appearance was sub optimal. Now I have a wonderful healthy smile that will last a lifetime, which was my goal when I became a patient at PalmerDistinctive Dentistry. Thank you for helping me achieve my goal. You truly provide DISTINCTIVE care.

With a vocation in sales, a smile is very important. My smile was adequate but had some inconsistent shades due to patch work composites placed on the upper centrals by another dentist. Dr. Palmer looked at the whole picture and noticed not only the shading difference, but also the shift in the midline caused by a missing lateral tooth. He placed veneers on seven anterior teeth and not only corrected the shading of the teeth, but solved the midline problem too. The man is an artist! I receive no less than ten compliments on my smile daily. My only regret is not using Dr. Palmer as my dentist fifteen years earlier!
