ARVO’s mission to reach out to Alaska’s rural pets and their people prevents an untold number of unwanted puppies from being born, helps prevent the spread of diseases such as Parvo, Distemper, and Rabies, cuts down on dog bites, and improves the overall safety and health of rural villages. The soul of ARVO’s work is in its wonderful volunteers and supporters whose compassion for animals makes it all possible.

ARVO does a fabulous job of providing veterinary services to rural Alaskan villages. They are an all-vounteer organization and provide service with a shoestring budget. They are a genuinely caring and kind group of people.
