Little Bird is our favorite morning spot in town. Cappuccinos are the best. And the bakery is all same-day, from scratch … Incredible. Croissants, scones, francier, bostock, and special for Saturday mornings, Monkey bread like you’ve never had before … Ha, but you’ll have to hurry, they can go fast!

These are my favorite pastries in town! I can not help but buy at least 5 items when I come in. It helps that they also serve great coffee from a roaster in Boulder, and the fact that Amy and Ian are wonderful people. I love this little bakeshop!

They represent the term \\\”baked with love\\\” in every sense. Made from scratch with fresh ingredients there is no comparison. Every item they create is flawless. It is my absolute favorite and has been from the day they opened their doors!

Simply put, there is NOWHERE better in Fort Collins for quality, made-from-scratch baked goods and excellent coffees, teas, etc, let alone AMBIANCE!
The Little Bird Bakeshop is such a welcome reprieve from the endless loud college bars, restaurants, etc. This place exudes charm, character and will remind you of tea shops and bakeries in the UK and such.
Centrally located in downtown Old Town Fort Collins, it is the perfect place to start your day, catch up with a friend, and enjoy, say, the BEST croissants in town, like their divine chocolate filled variety. Other baked goodness includes authentic scones (not caked in sugar like you will find elsewhere) served with homemade compotes, fresh quiches, incredible fluffy savory cheese biscuits, Bostock, financiers, homemade oatmeal and granola, muffins, cookies, and so on — Pretty much everything you\\\’d expect from an independently owned bakery.
With that said, a few caveats: This is not a Great Harvest Bread Co or any other kind of franchise. While they used to bake and serve bread loafs, they no longer do due to the fact that their other items sell better and set them apart from any (non existent!) competition. Rather, the Little Bird Bakeshop is a place to sit down and enjoy the casual, refined quieter atmosphere, taking a break as you enter into a world filled with that inviting aroma and beautiful food made and displayed fresh daily. The owners pride themselves on sourcing locally for all their raw ingredients. (Even the honey comes from beehives in Fort Collins!)
While they are not a coffee shop, per se, they offer the best lattes and cappuccino\\\’s in Northern Colorado imho! Excellent French Press coffee varieties too. Being a fairly small shop, they can get quickly crowded though on weekend mornings so be sure to come early..like, when they first open! If it gets swamped, there can be the occasional time you will have to wait longer but, believe me, any wait will always be well worth it! You just aren\\\’t going to find another establishment like this scratch bakery anywhere else… even remotely close! Another side note is that you won\\\’t find people hogging up an entire table just to use their own laptop. There is no internet and tables are meant to be social so you can feel free to share with someone else if needed but usually you will be fine finding a place to sit. There is also seating outside with cute little colorful tables and chairs which can be great for people-watching in downtown.
Not to be forgotten, this bakery also offers delicious homemade soups that change out daily, served with hearty chunk of fresh baked, seasoned focaccia bread. Try their Ricotta cheese on toast with salmon for something refreshing in the warmer months. Also, they are the only place in town that makes CAMBRIC teas the right (and best) way: tea with steamed milk only! –not diluted with water like you might get with a tea latte at Starbucks or elsewhere. While I don\\\’t normally like Earl Grey Tea, their Earl Grey Cambric is silky smooth and sublime.
Check out their Facebook to get an idea of the kind of offerings you will find there. Am I a fan? Of course! In fact, you will find that this bakery has a very loyal following where many of us have come to know each other, frequenting it weekly (the ONLY place we do that). As noted earlier, The Little Bird bakeshop is truly the best place in town!

There are so many delicious baked goods at the Little Bird Bakeshop that I am never disappointed when I go there. The cappuccino is as I like it and the baristas are friendly!! Looking forward to getting back.
