I am grateful to Dr. Actman for creating a custom plan for my aggressive cystic acne in my late 30’s . I was so embarrassed to go out or not try to cover with makeup due to severe scarring and dark marks and varying skin tones all on my chin and around my lips. I’ve never had acne in life other than a pimple here or there. So his treatment plan gave me my confidence back and I’m so grateful. He’s awesome.

My experience at DSA Dermatology was great! I was greeted by Kerissa and she took care of me right away. Kerissa was very cheerful and inviting and was thorough with my skin concerns. Dr. Achtman was very understanding and kind while providing me with the best available treatment options. I had a lot of concerns and a lot of questions, but Dr. Achtman was very diligent and answered them all. Overall, my experience here was one to remember.

I can honestly say I had the most amazing experience at this office Dr.Achtman was wonderful I read that he started with that office just recently but you’d think he’d been there forever with all of the knowledge he provided. I was so insecure with my problems but he made me feel very comfortable and was able to help me come up with a a solution on my first visit! I can’t wait to see my results. I was very comfortable telling her about my issues. Wow!!! I randomly looked up a dermatologist in my area for a small procedure I needed done and I will say I could not be happier with this team!!!! EVERYONE in the office is just so friendly and welcoming. The Doctor was super super nice and explained everything in detail that was easily understandable and even had suggestions on how to keep costs down. The nurse I had was WONDERFUL!!! Just an all around perfect experience and I highly highly suggest this office to anyone in the West Plano area. Great example of good culture in an office. Loved my visit!

Professional and polite staff… I, neither had to wait for long in the lobby nor in the exam room. As soon as I was done with the paper work, a very polite nurse got me into the exam room. she inquired about the condition and as soon as she was done, Dr. Mathews came in to examine me. Great experience.

Dr. Achtman is the best dermatologist I have ever seen. He is incredibly kind and patient. He has helped me with my alopecia for years. When I went to him I had lost all hope and was terrified of being bald the rest of my life. Needles to say, I have plenty of hair and a huge smile on my face. Every time I am there he never rushes off, he stays and makes sure he has answered all my questions. I have complete confidence in him and all the wonderful nurses there.

I went in for a consult regarding some concerns over my moles. Luckily they were in network with Molina Marketplace so I made an appointment with them. From making the appointment to leaving the office, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Hardly a wait time and they were very fast and efficient. The doctor has a good bed side manner and I was seen quickly. I felt like he addressed my concerns without making me feel rushed. I do plan on coming back since my overall experience was very positive.

From the consultations with Dr. McConnell and Dr. A, through the actual procedure was absolutely 5* treatment! They and their staff made me feel special and everyone was so patient with me. My “ after call” truly made me comfortable and assured me that I did a “ good thing”- for myself!! Thank You, Thank You!!!!

Great at keeping to scheduled appointment. Staff is friendly. I have visited the office 5 times and not been disappointed once with the overall office operation and My interaction with Dr. Achtman. Highly recommend the practice.

Friendly professional staff! MA’s, Kristi & Tonya made sure I was comfortable! Dr. Achtman explained what he was going to do before starting the procedure and there was no pain! Office was very neat and clean! I will definitely use this dermatologist again!

I have had three sessions with Dr. Achtman and could not be more pleased. Dr. Achtman is very professional and provides the best care. The staff are very kind. I have never had to wait more than 5-7 minutes to be seen. Overall I highly recommend DSA Dermatology and Dr. Achtman!

I had a photo-facial on the forehead and scalp for brown spots. The procedure was quicker than I expected it to be. The results were better than I expected. Dr. McConnell explained in detail what would happen. She also explained what to expect after the treatment. The staff answered every question I had. The Esthetician was great and explained everything that was going on.

The SkinPen micro-needling procedure has helped with the redness and scarring on my skin. Because of my skin type, I can’t have a laser treatment so the Skin Pen is ideal for me. Dr. McConnell is very knowledgeable and has taught me so much about skincare and how to take care of my skin. The staff at DSA dermatology is very friendly and always very attentive to the patient’s needs. I have been coming to DSA dermatology since my teenage years. The service is always great.There are various options when it comes to treating the patient and having two great doctors in the same practice helps create a better patient experience.

I went for my first visit and was taken back to a room right after filling out my paperwork…very short wait. Nurse discussed my reason for visiting and doctor was in within 5 minutes. He was friendly, professional, thorough, listened to me, asked me if I had any questions. Had a mole removed and I literally did not feel any pain from the injection or brief procedure. Much better experience than my previous dermatologist. As such, I would highly recommend Dr Achtman
