Smokin Barrel BBQ

I’ve eaten bbq, but none has left me coming back for more like Smokin Barrel. The meat is tender and flavorful in every bite, never dry or overwhelming. Combined with their homemade sides and sauces, you’ve got some major sensory satisfaction here. And the price is right so you can stop in more than once a week. We’ve eaten there for lunch and taken home extra for meals the next day and it’s just as good if not better reheated. Can’t brag about them enough. I just wish they were in our hometown and not 600 miles away. At this point, we can only enjoy this excellent bbq when we go to Omaha to visit family once a year. But, when we do, we make it a point to stop by Smokin Barrel before we leave town.

Best Brisket in the state!! They make Texas style BBQ. I tasted my first smoked brisket in Austin years ago and was head over heals about it. Since then I have not found similar brisket in Nebraska…until now. There is some fat on this brisket but that is exactly where the flavor comes from which makes it Texas style! The first taste of their brisket brought me right back to the first time I had it in Austin. Delish! Moist and juicy with a great smoky flavor. The rib ends were a surprise…lots of meat on those little bites. The pulled pork made me quite happy as well….juicy, smoky with hints of bark throughout. The meat also comes with a side of their own bbq sauce. I fully intended to use my own favorite BBQ sauce when I got home with the meat, but when I tasted theirs I stuck with it. Very good sauce too! Best BBQ all around!!!

THE BEST BBQ, hands down!!!! Fantastic service, very reasonable prices. Everything is seasoned and prepared to perfection. The owner & his staff are really friendly and get your meal out to you quickly, with no mistakes. I can’t say enough good things about Smokin’ Barrel!!!!
