Breaking Bread has catered both work and personal events for me. Guests always rave about the amazing food and can’t get enough! The portions are generous and reasonably priced. Breaking Bread staff are always extremely professional, accommodating and helpful. They are an excellent catering choice!

Breaking Bread fills a huge gap in the North Minneapolis community. A clean, well run, local spot with absolutely delicious food (as a vegetarian I am especially happy because they have incredible vegetarian and vegan options) that is affordable and friendly.
Breaking Bread offers simple yet unique twists on southern/Caribbean. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. Even simple things, like the beer battered fish are on another level – you can actually taste the beer?! Breakfast and lunch are both fantastic – shout out to the homemade bis quits and vegan sausage sandwich it is to die for – and incredibly reasonable making it accessible for almost anyone.
North Minneapolis is an amazing community and Breaking Bread is a ray of sunshine right on the avenue. I love meeting friends and co-workers here…and now I’m hungry.
