The food is awesome their fries are magnificent. And I’m a big fan of ice cream and love grape and they have grape ice cream the only place in Rockford Illinois that has grape ice cream. It is awesomely good.

The 205 burger is the best in town! Love the owners, they go out their way to introduce themselves and make you feel like family after one visit. I love the atmosphere and suggest you try 15th&Chris if you haven’t already.

This is an amazing family dive and is a must, amazing burgers and amazing atmosphere

15th & Chris is by far the best Burger place in the State line area. The staff is friendly and helpful, I always get a feeling like I’m a part of their family. The restaurant is clean inside and out. Seating is outside and I have never experienced a dirty table. Another area where the staff excellent at is keeping their business tidy and welcoming. Now let’s talk food!!! There are both large color photos of each burger and a detailed description of them. Each burger can be made into a basket and please don’t forget the wings!!! There are tasty sides like baked beans, coleslaw and macaroni salad to name a few. I have recently had The Wrecker, a burger with Grilled mushrooms, onions, blue cheese and the usual tomato, lettuce, etc. My favorite is the P B & J burger that is the most brilliant combination of flavors. Don’t think of peanut butter and jelly on a burger, think a burger with a thai peanut slaw with a chili pepper jelly. There are many other choices like the Gunite ( named after a local foundry a few blocks away) with a Polish sausage on top a burger, with other toppings to The Boogie Burger, a turkey burger with jerk seasoning. The owner James has created interesting burgers that are memorable but to me what’s more amazing is his palette. His creations are mind blowing, his personality warm and his work ethic ( as well as his staff) will have you become as much of a super fan as I am. Do yourself a favor, visit them soon. There are closed Sundays and Mondays but open til 8 all the other days of the week.

Been following the fb page now about a year, the burgers & etc looks incredible. Well last Saturday at the Durand Biker Bash I finally got to try some & I must say WOW What a awesome burger with a great taste to it & Will travel from Machesney Park to 15th & Chris soon for another great burger. And will bring the wife for her to see why I came home from Durand impressed by a great lunch I had & the Women working the food stand we’re also so kind & answered my questions I had and just so polite. Nothing compares to the quality of the food or the service the owner gives. The flavors he puts in his product are by far above and beyond what anybody else is doing. I go once or twice a week.

Everything I’ve ate from there is one of the best things I’ve ever Had in my life! My son lives across the country and when I Drive to get him, I try to stop at places from “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives” along the way and 15th & Chris has blew them outta the water..

From the food to the staff, everything is wonderful. The burgers are very delicious, as well as everything else I’ have eaten from here. I really enjoy the chili and polishes too!

I asked for a burger of chefs choice I told him I like bacon cheeseburger he suggested a wrecker I enjoyed every bite I usually don’t eat some of the ingredients but I ate whole thing great taste and a very unique and tasteful experience

15th and Chris has the best French fries I’ve ever had. They are amazing. They pair well with any of the unique and amazing burgers they serve. My family is on a mission to try them all.

We were in Rockford for a baseball tournament and accidentally came across 15th and Chris. James was behind the counter and walked us through what he thought we might like. Well, it was everything on the menu! (205 burger for one) This man has some amazing combinations for burgers and the chicken wings are the bomb! Do not miss this place. His aunt and sister are in the kitchen while James makes you feel like family. We hit this place up EVERY time we are in Rockford!

The selection of burgers are awesome and they are all cooked to perfection. They do one thing and they do it extremely well. The prices are also what makes me keep going back. The food is high quality at a good price. This just goes to show you that quality food doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Two thumbs up.

This is a Rockford gem. Every burger I get is better than the one before (which was awesome in the first place). Always perfectly prepared and combinations of flavors you won’t find anywhere else. Awesome people and a great setting. The curb side seating really brings people together and I always find myself making new friends. Your first visit will not be your last.

Simply put…..the best burgers in Illinois served by the most friendly staff. Doesn’t get any better than that!
