A Hairy Situation is not just a typical grooming business.. These lady’s love all animals so much. I’ve been bringing my two rescues there since I moved to AZ last year. I was referred by a friend in my complex. My dogs actually get excited to go there. Also, when I travel to LA for work, they always dogsit for me. My two pups love going there. Really, they get excited. Shandel and Jaime are amazing!
Btw- their pricing is very reasonable:)

I’ve gone to multiple groomers with my labradoodle. For one reason or another it’s been horrible. She’s an older dog and has some old age moles. Other groomers have actually shaved over them and left her bleeding and hurt. Jamie is amazing with her. Maggie always comes out looking perfect and happy, she gets so excited when we go to the groomers now.

Took my little rescue dog Cooper here twice, the ladies were so good to him. They are gentle with the dogs and try to make even the most timid ones relax and have an awesome experience. Will not take him anywhere else. Plus they make the dogs look so handsome. Cooper loves his doggie spa days and feels very special each time he goes. Thank you so much ladies for all you do. I am spreading your name to all the fur moms I know.

I have been taking Sissy to see Shandel before she started her business. I have always loved the way she treats her fur babies. When she started her own business it was a no brainer for me, we were following her. I highly recommend A Hairy Situation to all dog owners. You could not find a better group of ladies to care for your pet.

Shandell is the best, so gentle and loving. Whether you have a scared, very old, or very young she is patient and kind. She loves the goofy happy ones too. My dog literally drag me in as soon as they see where we are. So blessed to have found such a great groomer. –
Jamie is also a gem. Shandell would only surround herself with true animal lovers.

A Hairy Situation Grooming Co is by far the best place to take your fur babies. They are well taken care of and never locked up to feel alone and scared. I have 2 dogs I have taken to Shandel and am now living in another state. I have yet to find a groomer I like or trust as much as this one. I have actually been shaving my one dog myself and bathing them both myself. I wish I could take them back to Phoenix just to see Shandel. <3

After getting a glowing recommendation from my nextdoor neighbor I started going to A Hairy Situation Grooming Co. about 18 months ago when I got my puppy Maggie. Shandell is not only a great groomer she also is a godsend because she will watch Maggie for me when I have to run errands or take my mom to the casino. I owe Betty big time for recommending Shandell.

These ladies are the only groomers I let take care of my Yorkie, Riley. They always do a wonderful job, and treat my pup with love and affection.

I can’t say enough about these ladies! If there were 10 stars to give I would have picked it. I bring one of my very fearful dogs to them for grooming. The first time there I was shocked and amazed at how comfortable she was with Shandel. I bring her back frequently for grooming and each time she is more and more relaxed and truly enjoys it. Both these gals are wonderful with the special needs dogs.

I have not sent my own dogs to Shandel yet, but I have gone many times with my mom’s dogs. Basically, I WILL be taking my own dogs there sometime, whether they really need a groom or not! She is so bright and happy, and so good with the dogs. She does her best to make them comfortable and calm. She does great work on the grooming and her prices are great. She definitely deserves this nomination, and the win!

My dogs love to go and look wonderful when they come home. A Hairy Dog Situation grooms my foster for free as they do for all of Arizona Small Dog Rescue babies. Shandel Paisley toik my dog when no one else would because she bites out of fear. She is no longer afraid to be groomed.

Shandel is amazing with the dogs! She has groomed 3 of my dogs…All have poodle in them, so they get the puffy tops…All 3 looked amazing when Shandel did them. Her prices are great too! You can see the love she has for the dogs. Best groomer!

Jamie has groomed our older dog Trevor with such gentleness and love! He looked awesome when she finished grooming him! Jamie loves animals and it shows!! I have never met anyone who loves animals as much as Shandell. She is so wonderful with my two dogs Rocky and Buddy. She is caring, nurturing, flexible, and the best groomer I have ever used. I have been using,her for almost 6 years now and she is just amazing. Perfect grooming every time. I nominate her and A Hairy Situation proudly.
