A Tail to Tell Puppy Mill Rescue

This group is the most caring group of people I have ever seen. From the group\’s leadership to all of the foster families and volunteers they have. The love and humor they show each other and all the furbabies make this organization one of the best I have ever encountered. They rescue dogs from puppy mills that have been used and abused beyond anything that any animal should have to endure. They rescue them, treat them no matter the cost, and give them the love they have never received before. Some dogs are so damaged by the time they get them, the only thing that they can do is show them the love that they had never known before. They will pass knowing someone finally cared. Most of these dogs do so well under their group care, they are adopted by other loving families. They do home checks on their adopted families to try to ensure a good fit for the dog and the family. They want every adoption to be a success. Our little girl, Toodles, is one of their rescues that was not a puppy mill dog. They rescued her from a shelter to give her a chance at life. I had been looking at another dog with them at the time. She was a little risky around young children and they told us that. They do not cover up any flaws. They told us they had rescued another dog similar to the kind of dog we were looking at. We went on a visit because I wanted to ensure our furbaby would fit with my handicapped child. She is in a wheelchair and many dogs were fearful of it. We knew we found the perfect fit when she jumped right on her lap and started kissing her while the other dogs stayed away. Love the integrity, the honesty and the love this group shares from the beginning of the process through your furbabies lifetime and shares the grief process if need be at the end. They are there for you always! I just cant say enough about this group!

They are the best and they all have a heart of gold. It takes all volunteers to work this organization and we are the recipient of one of their rescues. Our love and joy for life.

They go above and beyond for the care and love of their fur babies! All of their volunteers are amazing and dedicated!

I personally have adopted 2 mill babies from them. And they take such wonderful care of them before they are adopted.

I’ve been in rescue for a long time in various capacities. Most rescues are more about the human egos than about the dogs. With A Tail to Tell, it’s different. This rescue – from the time a dog is pulled for rescue to the financials and everything in between – is an open book. No drama, no bs, just people who love dogs helping doing whatever is needed to save those dogs. No puppy mill dog is turned down – ever. All that are offered are taken, no matter their condition or psychological damage. I believe in this group so much that I donate 5% of my yearly proceeds in real estate. What an awesome rescue!

Have never known any other rescue to be so dedicated to the dogs . No stone doeant go unturned regarding vet/medical expenses. They embrace the most damaged, sick and hardest to socialize and rehabilitate dogs. Dedicated and hard working volunteers constantly finding ways to raise the funds to cover the medical costs. Every decision at every level is for the best interest for each and every dog.
