Excellent atmosphere, music, and the coffee and food are top notch. The only spot in the city where you can arrive in the AM to a great breakfast and dance the wee hours of the next AM away. Cyphers and poetry slams dates are to look out for.

I love everything about Alteregos – the staff, location, vibes and food, are all top shelf!! I’ve always been welcomed with genuine kindness, which is why I keep coming back here. I wish this Alteregos was in every city, as I travel a lot and this kind of environment is hard to find!! Definitely recommend this to anybody looking to enjoy a premium gem of Halifax. 100% love.

Altergos is a great place to have drinks and meals while hanging out in the community. They also do a lot of great community work there, letting local artists express their art. They have had open mics, poetry slams, photography collections, art showcases, and book launches. Alteregos is my favourite place in the North End of Halifax.
Great staff, awesome vibes.
