I had the esteemed pleasure of meeting Lilia almost three years ago when my husband and I adopted our dog, Keeva. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed at just how hard working this woman is. There was a lot of love and care that was evident as we walked to where two litters of puppies all danced and barked to greet us. Thanks to this woman\’s tireless efforts, there are many creatures great and small who owe their life to her. From dogs to cats, rats and rabbits…if she\’s got the room, she takes them in. Rescue is hard work and rarely thanked. Tough decisions must be made for the greater good of those in your care. And despite how hard some of those choices are, this woman never lets those decisions wear her down that friendly demeanor of hers. Each animal that walks through the doors of BARK is given the time to destress from their situation and heal before being responsibly placed in a home that they\’ll best thrive in. Truly, this woman is not in it for the profit but rather out of a genuine passion to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome. I will always tell people who are looking for their new family member to seek out BARK first.

I have two super sweet, affectionate, & smart kitties 8 years young, that are family! They are healthy, no bad habits, current on all vaccines, absolutely wonderful companions. Then I got married, to find out my husband is allergic to cats & dogs. I am completely heartbroken to have to part with my precious animals, but it’s them or the husband. I wasn’t having any luck re-homing them, but my neighbor suggested Lillia at BARK rescue & she was able to put them in the Pet Smart in Avondale last week. They are waiting to find their new forever home! Lillia and BARK are saving animals every day. THANK YOU BARK! They look forward to meeting new loving parents. My heart goes with them. This is a rescue which truly goes out of their way to always do what is best for their animals. Whether the animal is still with them or already placed in a home, Lilia provides the best support for each and every animal. You can always count on the animals being loved and taken care of. She is one of the most knowledgeable women I know with the biggest heart.

This rescue is amazing. Lilia genuinely cares about her animals and pours her life into them. It’s as if her rescues are a part of her family. I would recommend this rescue to anyone looking to add a furry friend to the family. BARK definitely deserves more recognition.

We love BARK. I have brought a lost bunny to this rescue and adopted my dog from this rescue. My dog came to be trained, housebroken, and extremely social because of the environment this rescue keeps their animals in. It’s a family affair and this family gets it right.

BARK has been our choice of rescue for over 4 years. The owner, Lillia has helped us many times, from helping us re-home a beautiful lab puppy, to us fostering many kitties for her. She has so much love for the animals, it\’s hard not to fall in love with her cause. She doesn\’t discriminate…she loves all furry creatures!(and some feathered and scaly ones too!!)

Lilia is great she takes great care of all her animals she has. She makes sure when they are adopted they go to good home. The animals are health and they look happy. if I was to adopt a animal it’s would be threw BARK.

Well run rescue by caring people. They are a go-to rescue when anyone needs help. They have an amazing group of volunteers and give back to the community. I love this place.
