Bella Reed Pit Bull Rescue is by far the best place to adopt a dog from!! We adopted our pitty pup almost a year ago and Bella Reed has been with us every step of the way! We continue to keep in touch with the president as well as our pups amazing foster family! Such a great network of people who truly, truly care about these extraordinary animals!! The Dixon family LOVES BRPBR!!!

This is a great rescue. They work extremely hard to help out dogs that most people often overlook. They frequently pull senior dogs and dogs with severe medical issues and provide them with love and any care they may need. They have a thorough process for adoption, ensuring that their dogs are placed in loving, safe homes.

Bella-Reed Pitbull rescue is one of the best Pitbull life saving organizations I have seen. They are very careful who they adopt to and follow up after adoption

I am a fan because I am a volunteer for the rescue. I researched all the local rescues in my area and went to events and asked questions. I feel BRPBR advocates for the pit bull bread and even when decisions are difficult they always do what is best for the dog. They do their best to make sure every dog is the best fit for the adopters. If for some reason it doesn’t work out or if there is an emergency Bella Reed takes the dog back into the rescue to be cared for and evaluated. They are a great rescue that i am happy to be a volunteer for.

Simply put, I adopted my best friend through Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue. They put the best interests of the pitbulls they rescue first and have a thorough applicant screening process to be as certain as they can be that their rescues are going to a good home.

When got our first adopted rescue dog and we were looking to get him a brother or sister we reached out to Bella -reed. And she responded back with good tips advise. For our family . As well just watching her with rescue she does great work for community as well with dogs. She treats them as those many dogs are her babies and she makes sure all her babies find there forever homes

My dog Lilah is a rescued Pit Bull, although we did not adopt Lilah through Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue we have always supported them and their work. Lilah was an Honorary Alumni and was invited to do a photo shoot in support of their program. Lilah’s photo graced the cover of their Facebook page for a while. Bella-Reed Rescue is constantly pulling dogs and puppies from the kill shelters, just in time! They have a wonderful group of fosters and volunteers keeping their program strong. With out rescues like Bella-Reed more and more pit bull type dogs would die needlessly. Bella-Reed not only helps get dogs into healthy happy forever homes they also help to educate the public on the many positive attributes of these wonderful dogs. We look forward to seeing them at local doggie events this coming season.

I can’t say enough about Bella Reed. The time and effort they put into their rescues and adopters is endless. We adopted our baby this year and she has been great. While we were being interviewed/ reviewed as potential adopters they made sure we were aware of the effort needed for a puppy and were familiar with the breed and best practices when multiple pets are involved. The dogs are socialized, basic training is started and they have a complete summary of all their pups. You are provided with all the documentation, outreach checking in to see how things are going, helpful suggestions coupled with a great group of inviting people for you to work with. I am a full supporter of the breed and love watching how wonderful these dogs are nurtured with this rescue.

Bella Reed is a fabulous organization they really care about the breed and are committed to relocating those in need, they have been thru numerous medical cases and have found loving forever homes to those that were unwanted and simply left behind! They go above and beyond in what a normal rescue would do, they keep in contact with all their adopters and they aren’t enough great things that can be said about them! They are wonderful!

This is one of the best run, easy to work with, but still responsible rescues around. They are particular who their dogs go to but are reasonable in what they expect. They take back dogs that don’t work out with no judgement. They really do a lot for the dogs in their care in terms of both medical care and training. Just a good group.

Bella-Reed is what every rescue should be! The focus is on pit bulls, but the board of directors and volunteers truly care about every living creature and do everything possible to provide a safe and loving environment for every animal encountered. The screening process, application provisions and home visits provide assurance of a superior foster and/or adoptive experience. Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue should be the template which all rescues and shelters should strive to replicate.

When I was first looking for a pit bull rescue, I stalked Bella Reed for a few months before adopting through them. I wanted to make sure I was using a good rescue. Little did I know at the time, I was adopting from an EXCELLENT rescue! Melissa and her ‘peeps’ truly care about these dogs. They have been extremely kind and caring to both us and our rescued Karma. Bella Reed does a thorough home check to reassure the homing of pit bulls.They are also EXTREMELY supportive of us adopters. If we ever have ANY questions or concerns, they get back to us very quickly. For months after our adoption, we were asked to send them updates. I LOVE sharing our stories with them so much that I still update them and it’s been 2 1/2 years. They are genuinely interested in how the dogs are treated/doing after they are adopted, and they care about US, the people, who adopted. I know if I ever have any questions or concerns, I can call Bella Reed and they will be there for both us and our rescued pit bull, Karma. Thank you for offering this opportunity to Bella Reed! I adopted my one dog through Bella Reed and they are a fantastic. For the first year they would check in with us to see how Darth was doing. This past summer they did a little liter reunion that was a hit. It was great seeing how big the siblings got and how they are interested with each other. It’s amazing what Bella Reed does for these dogs. 5 star rating is just not enough for them!!

This rescue group does an amazing job finding forever homes for their ADORABLE pitbull. They have huge hearts and take excellent care of the dogs in their rescue. I would definitely take a couple off their hands if I didn’t move SO far away from them! Keep up the great work and thank you for all that you do!

I actually adopted my little girl Willow from them. They are a group of ppl that absolutely adore the pitties they save and work hard to give them a safe environment . They give them so much love and the structure they need to find their forever homes. They set these dogs up to be the best they can be. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this rescue

I now have 3 pits all adopted from Bella Reed. They are a great rescue dedicated to helping pits of all ages find their forever home. We were lucky enough to find 3 forever dogs through them.they are very thorough and care very much about where their dogs are placed. I highly recommend them to anyone.
