I came across Big Daddies a couple years ago while staying at Glennifer Lake. I was so happy to finally have pizza from home and Big Daddies did not let me down. It is the best pizza I have had since moving here to Alberta over 4 years ago. One Saturday, back in April or May I traveled from Edson to Sylvan Lake just to have their pizza. Its the simply the best b’ye!! I only chose 4 stars as I wish it was meat from down home as well!

Best donair and garlic fingers I have ever had! The homemade donair sauce is absolutely amazing! Pizza is also top notch, with quality ingredients and delicious homemade crust! Pizza subs were also really good!

Being from Montreal, I have been spoiled when it comes to pizza, Chinese food, and Smoked meat. Montreal has the best in the world! When my daughter in law told me about big daddies I was to say the least, skeptical, but after seeing the size of the box, and the first bite, I knew that I would be a regular customer.
I live in Calgary but take any chance I can to go up to Sylvan lake. Sometimes,,, just for your pizza

You won’t find a better pizza in western Canada. Great food and a very friendly staff make this place a must stop when in or around Sylvan Lake.

Big Daddy\’s has the best pizza, hands down! Their donairs are huge and meaty too!
I\’ve ordered from BDs personally and for my classroom students (90 people). I have had parents, teachers, and students ask where the pizza is from because they\’ve never had anything like it before!
I hate greasy dough and lack of toppings, but these pizzas are always hot, soft where needed and crispy where necessary…and never soggy. Every bite has toppings, even around the edges.
When it comes to sizing, everyone else\’s large is the size of BDs\’ medium. You will never be hungry after eating here.
I love that the recipes are family created and the ingredients are as local as possible.
Add in fantastic customer service and you\’ve got a very successful Big Daddy\’s.
Craig and Trish are the most fun and hardworking duo in the restaurant business and yet always find the time to make their customers feel sincerely appreciated!

Great Food, everything on the menu is awesome.
Most importantly though, the staff is AMAZING, they make you feel welcome and make sure that you leave happy.
