Saw a repair tattoo of the Killers “Eddie” image that Chris did. If he can repair a tattoo and make it look like he did he could definitely do a custom Eddie tattoo. I set up an appointment, which was 2 months out, Chris is popular. Chris designed a samurai Eddie for my forearm. This was also a cover up of a 36 year old smaller tattoo on my forearm. Chris was easy to work with played lots of Iron Maiden while we sat for 5 hours working on the tattoo and some other music I was unfamiliar with but nonetheless enjoyed immensely. Atmosphere of shop is great, all other artists have great personalities and I had a fun time listening to the banter between them while getting inked. Artwork came out very sinister which is what I was looking for and unlike any other Eddie image I have seen, Chris has a great hand and artistic sensibility. 5 hours of work yielded a very detailed piece of art and I am looking forward to getting the finishing touches put on next week and then scheduling another part of my forearm to be done by Chris. When I left the shop and got a burrito all the kids at the restaurant checked out my new ink and I got a free burrito as I handed out Chris’s card to them. I have recommended Black Cat to many people already and will continue to do so. Too bad thee is not an image attachment available to show work here.
