The choreography here is great and I love the personal instruction they give. It’s also a warm place so everybody can at least get along if they aren’t friends yet.

A few years ago my daughter decided she wanted to take ballet, so I found a studio near our home (it wasn\’t Capitol City Dance Academy). Initially she loved it, but as she progressed and moved up to higher levels, the teacher decided to also move up a couple other girls to the same level and these girls weren\’t ready to be moved up. So instead of my daughter being challenged and learning new things she went back to learning basic ballet because that was the level the other girls were at. She ended up quitting ballet, which was really disappointing. So when Reese the owner of Capitol City Dance Academy opened her studio I began to try and talk my daughter into giving ballet another shot, she eventually decided to join. This studio has been beyond amazing, she has learned, been challenged and progressed extremely fast at Capitol City Dance Academy. She has so much more confidence and strength than she has ever had in her life. My daughter also recently lost her father and this studio has been one of the few things that has helped her through this difficult time. All of the teachers are amazing, the students all treat each other like family, they help each other with homework, makeup and hair when they have recitals and they are extremely encouraging and supportive of each other. This studio is full of happiness and laughter. Not only is this an amazing dance studio it is an amazing place for your children to grow as a person.
