I dealt with the shelter before it was run by CARA and it’s so much more of a positive place now. I’m so thankful to have them in our community. We look forward to getting our next fur baby from CARA

They are simply amazing and wonderful at what they do and wonderful to all animals. The world needs more places like Cara\’s House!

CARA has done so much for our parish animals! They are taken care of now, and adopted out to loving families. I I feel sad for what would have happened had CARA not successfully fought tooth and nail to take over the parish shelter. Our lost and stray animals. Our animals have hope, as do the citizens of Ascension Parish.
