Dermatology on Bloor

I’m a professional actor and Dr. D @ Dermatology on Bloor is a career boosting miracle man! I am NOT a model and I’m a lot older than I look. My friend (not in the business) went to Dermatology on Bloor first so I was sold and confident before I arrived but to be frank I had NO idea what I wanted, needed or anything about the benefits of Botox, Fillers or bla bla bla whatever. I can tell you first hand that you can not go wrong with Dr. D. He listens and looks and works absolute magic – you can trust that he will get results with care and expertise – I mean, ten years rolled right off me within 45 minutes and I’ve never turned back. I cannot look anything but natural – I”m NOT a model and if anyone can tell a procedure has been done that’s not good – well I tell you no one knows WHY I look and feel so darn good – except the peeps @ Dermatology on bloor. I had to write this to share the good news – if you are wondering WIFM (what’s in it for me) nothing – except spreading the self-esteem and galmour boosting vibe. You will just look like YOU but better, I promise. Go and see Dr. D and welcome in the New Year a new you. Totally wonderful staff and simply the BEST kept secret in town…Be Your Best, Forget the Rest. 🙂

Dr. Hanna is wonderful. He is always on time, and answered all of my qustions. He takes his time and explains all procedures thoroughly. I had a dry patch on my face and went to one doctor who told me it might be a cancerous cyst. I then went to my family doctor and he said it was only excema. I received two different creams from these doctors and nothing worked. I went to see Dr. Hanna, and he perscribed me a cream that got rid of the dry patch within a day! He has also done restalyne injections on my face and I am very pleased with the result- very natural looking. Excellent doctor- don’t waste your time with others!

Dr. Dan Schachter is not only an excellent doctor, he’s a total mensch, with a real understanding of human nature — which I think is essential for any medical practitioner in order to properly diagnose and treat patients. He’s funny, relaxed and makes it easy to ask the most ridiculous, painful or embarrassing questions — especially when it comes to cosmetic procedures (and my own extreme vanity!) The people he works with are also extremely helpful and professional despite being so busy in a high-pressure office — sorry I don’t know all their names or I’d list them here!

Dr. Sameh Hanna is fantastic! I am always nervous with doctors, but he instantly put me at ease. Friendly, warm, explained everything thoroughly, and a wonderful sense of humour. He answered every question without rushing me, with helpful extra advice. Excellent doctor!

Helpful, very friendly, listened to my problems, gave useful advice on my skin problems and my cosmetic questions. Great sense of humour!

Very pleasant MD-cosmetic side of his Toronto office is small but stylish. I did not feel pressured to buy anything, but Dr. S assessed my skin, and presented me with the available options. Prices for treatments are reasonable considering it is ,in York ville. Staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. His receptionist Melissa, who sadly passed away in June, lit up the entire office. I know other clients are missing her terribly, as is Dr. Schachter. A very kind caring MD and man.

Dr. Curtis is great and compassionate. News flash to some people…yes you have to wait for doctors, what a shock!!! For a good dr I have zero problem waiting. She removed moles with no scarring, always listens to my concerns. She is at the top of her game.

I have seen Dr Curtis a few times for Botox/restylane treatments. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. As well, her prices were even marginally less than what I’ve paid at other offices for the same treatment. The fact that she is a professor is a bonus, as it ensures that she keeps abreast of latest developments in her field. many doctors do not.

Dr. Curtis makes me feel valued. I like her a lot. I couldn’t ask for more from a dermatologist.

Dr. Anne Curtis is very caring and knowledgeable in her practice, and I would recommend her to anyone dealing with skin problems.

Woo- how professional! I had to travel to Toronto for business last week and while having a chit chat with a client we had “lady’s talk” where she talked so highly of Dr. Hanna and Dr. Schachter. She recommended them so highly to me that I figured it would not harm to get a consultation on my skin issues. I called in and got an appointment rather quickly and then was greeted very friendly by the front desk. Dr. Hanna took the time to listen to my worries about my skin issues and than showed me a few solutions he can do and explained each one of them. Not once did I feel pressured or their prices are more than fair compare t what I would pay down here in Florida. Since i will be in Toronto more often I have scheduled several appointments already to start my treatment. Next time I will meet with Dr. Schachter to have a consultation regarding my psoriasis. Both thumbs up for being friendly, timely, quickly and experts in their fields! I can’t find such a professional level down where I live as here they are more specialized on a certain skin tones it seems. Not in this practice!
