Have known Kathy for many years and have already had 4 dogs through her classes band group activities. Her ability to work owners through the training to help them create wonderfully, obedient dogs is unmatched. Careful, commandingly gentle and extremely adaptive to each owners needs is an exact description of Kathy and her abilities. Recommend all the time.

I like Kathy’s training philosophy – private lessons before joining the group. This promotes a safe learning environment. In one of the first training sessions, Kathy made an observation about the way my dog responded to a command and suspected that he had been previously abused, which is very much possible. She changed her training program to better fit my dog and to make sure he grows confidence. That was very thoughtful. I am happy I found Kathy and her training group. We will continue working with her.

Kathy helped me with my Bloodhound which is known to be a leader, not a follower. The breed is stubborn and strong willed. They are bred to lead you through the woods in scent trails, not follow commands. Happily, with Kathy’s guidance and patience, my Dan heels, sits, downs, stays and comes in command. Other Hound parents are so envious of me. Kathy keeps all of her students as family. She is truly dedicated to making sure that the dog and person have a long and happy life together. She is like our guardian angel.
