Dancing Dragon Tattoo Studio

Beyond devastated with the tattoo I got. Its no wonder you cant upload pictures to this review. I asked for a black and shaded flower. He printed the tattoo I wanted. Taped it to the chair beside my back. It was a simple clean , chic and modern black almost charcoal drawing effect. I got a piece of shit COLOR… I dont even know what it is.. other than the fact that it has a dated GREEN and YELLOW stem you cant even make out what it is. The flower is super wide and short. Completely unproportioned. My best description would be a ugly Lotus with a short stem. I literally started crying when he showed it to me. I said it looks NOTHING like the picture. He got mad and ripped the picture off the chair and crumbled it up. Saying it was “just a reference”. Reference to what? I dont know because its apples and oranges. THEN he gets mad and starts going over the GREEN and YELLOW with black! Mind you the entire thing is COLOR with black in the middle , so the now 1/2 black stem look fucking great *sarcasm! He was mumbling how he thought it looked good but its my tattoo so he didnt care. I literally felt raped sitting there while he did whatever the fuck he wanted! I literally cant stop crying and shaking and this is a day later. It looks like a 1990 Bikers tattoo put on by an apprentice. This is so f****ed up to do to someone!!! Pictures are worth a thousand words!!! Anyone wants to see Id be happy to show you. Words can not describe how bad this is. I guess if you like outdated biker work, thats completely different than what you bring in this is the shop for you. *Side note I was not a walk in. It was a session I booked weeks out and e mailed exactly what and where I wanted a tattoo. Apparently they didnt give it to the guy doing my tattoo James I think..idk it was an older guy in the back of the shop. Possibly an owner or co owner idk. We sat for an hr talking and looking at pictures to get something that would look good in that area. I was beyond clear on what I did and didnt like! I have 6 tattoos total. I have NEVER run out of a tattoo shop crying. He did something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what was given to him. It was like asking for a picture of a cat and walking out with a fucked up dog… and youre just guessing its a dog because theres a f****** leash in the picture colored every tacky basic 90’s color you hate.

I waited half a century for my first tattoo. I was phobic of needles. James made it work. He was awesome, pleased with the tat and am preparing for a second piece. Proud to be carrying his work on my skin.

I am extremely please with the tattoo James did for me. It is by far my favorite! I won’t go anywhere else!

I had several tattoos by other shops in the surrounding areas over the years. When I started going to the dragon I really oticed how the great quality of their work really made the other shops look poorly. So many hours I have spent at the dragon getting new work, having them fix work done st other shops and on many occurrences having them cover up the extremely poor work done by other shops. Their quality and cleanses is second to none. They have never let me down so I will not get tattooed anywhere else. Dancing Dragon is above all

Chris has done pieces on every member of our family. We drive an hour and half to see him because he’s the best! Awesome work!
