Terrible training. They shut every digs drive down and creat weak sport dogs. Nothing real. No real protection digs there. They have been tested in trials. Don’t let them mess your dog up.

Sub-standard schutzhund club that masquerades as a protection dog venue. Do not buy a puppy here if you want an actual working dog. There are numerous sound breeders in the tri-state area, this club is not one of them. Howard Gaines breeds failed, unproven working lineage dogs that are no longer of working temperament, despite charging working dog prices. Ask to see video from club dogs Mina and Einstein, they have no interest in protection or bitework, or better yet go and see for yourself. The sire Howard uses, Bandit, lacks necessary prey drive for bite development barely having interest in biting a puppy tug at 2 years of age, possessing zero protective instinct, or defensive capability. Simply request video of this animal working to confirm this, as there is none publicly available. Howard Gaines, in my opinion, isn’t the skilled trainer he claims to be and possesses only a fundamental understanding of modern training modalities but sufficient charisma to exploit eager people new the protection dog world. Edit: Notice Howard Gaines has removed Facebook reviews from his clubs Facebook page as he is under scrutiny from multiple different working dog clubs in the area. Experts in the working k9 community do not endorse this man or the practices of his club. People were outing him on Facebook and in the working dog community. Howard is trying to censor the truth where he can in an attempt to manipulate his image to people who would otherwise not know any better. His efforts to develope a false narrative on Facebook are both deceptive and relentless. Do not be fooled. Always look at the end product a club is putting out. He refers to his clubs experience and the existence of “senior members” when in reality DGSGC is composed of just 4 older gentlemen who seem blissfully unaware of their ignorance. Not one member or trainer owns a proven dog. They have systematically constructed the atmosphere of a criticism free echo chamber, continually breeding failed genetics with reckless abandon and earning the title of the worst working dog club in the tri state area amongst those in the working k9 community.

Great place to train. You will become a better handler and your dog will profit from it by using positive marker training and the experience of club members. No yank and crank here.
