Douglas has always been a funny, honest, and wonderful down to earth person. He has such eclectic taste in everything. He has a flare to make everyone look fantastic!!!

This has been a place where I have made many memories.from my first lob cut, to my prom hair, to my wedding hair, Douglas has done it all for me! I cherish my pictures of my up-dos and love getting pampered and trimmed by Douglas. His attention to detail and the way he always asks what you think every step of the way is so refreshing! Thank you Douglas for being a true, classy hair stylist!

From the moment my daughter and I walked in, the atmosphere was wonderful. My daughter has ALWAYS had difficulty finding a salon that she likes because she has “high maintenance hair”. Douglas, the owner, not only styled her hair but took the time to explain in depth what she needed to do to maintain her hair. He always gives her the style that she wants with improvements to work with whatever occasion she is preparing for. He always goes above and beyond what she is expected. Not only does he take the time to give her instruction, he makes the salon experience fun, welcoming and professional. He strives for excellence and gives his customers’ his all. My daughter has been going to him for the last 4 years, this is quite an amazing feat. We had been looking for over 15 years for a hair expert and have found that expert at Denial Hair Salon. No one else is allowed to touch the hair on my daughter’s head.

Douglas has done my hair for 12 years now. He does an awesome job on my hair. He stays up to date on styles and hair products. He works with his clients to give them what they want. I recommend him to everybody.

Consistent cut every time and have walked out happy every time. For someone whose hair grows incredibly fast, I couldn’t be happier with this place.

I went to Denial for both my junior and senior prom and my hair was amazing! I have already set my wedding date and have started making my appointments leading up to the day and day of. I can wait to see what Douglas and I come up with!

Their expertise, plus the fun atmosphere in the salon keeps me driving back to Denial after moving 120 miles away 10 years ago!

I am a fan of Denial for their outstanding customer service and relationship they have with every one of their clients from younger to older. They take the time to listen to your needs and wants and go out of the way to make them a reality. The atmosphere of a Salon/Barber shop is top notch. Being able to get a straight razor cut and shave in a relaxing environment is by far one of the many many attributes of Denial that I love. The gentleman in the shop are by far some of the best people around. They maintain these relationships with their clients not only in the shop but outside as well. I don’t just consider them my Barbers I consider them some of my closest friends. Thank you again Denial hair salon for being the best hair salon and barber shops aroud.

Anyone who wants a great cut knows to come to Denial. They are funny, witty and talented. You get hair juicy and a show. They do wet shaves which is a fantastic art form. I have never seen a bad cut from here ever!

Douglas Phillips and John Godinez are The best! They really care about what their clients want in a cut and style. Their attention to detail in their cuts is unbelievable, from straight edges to flowing layers. My son travels 13 hours from college to receive his haircuts! He says no one else “can do it right like Denial”!
