Guided by Elise Som the studio always approaches its designs first with an understanding of their clients’ wants and needs
Having a Cambodian and Indian heritage Elise spent her early childhood in Paris absorbing all that this magical city was to offer. She studied business at the Sorbonne and subsequently worked as an event planner overseeing large affairs insuring that each client enjoyed a wonderful experience inside pleasing environments. When Elise moved to New York she opened a flower studio in the west village. A client, taken with her unique combination of flowers and knowledge of color, requested her input in the design of an apartment. Elise agreed without hesitation and thus began her foray into what came naturally -interior design. Elise expanded and refined her knowledge with studies in interior design at; Parsons, The New School, and Fashion Institute of Technology.
