Fat Kats Artistry Tattoo and Piercing Studio

I first came to Fat Kats with my first and only tattoo – a design I’d done myself, but was executed by a…very poor artist. It was on the back of my left hand, so it was a very visible monstrosity just sitting there. I spoke to Dan Loose in the shop about it, and he fixed it up so beautifully and added a gorgeous banner around my wrist with intricate detail and even put up with all my specifics about fonts and such. A few years later, I came back with a stack of reference papers and ideas and dropped them in his lap and had him design me my second tattoo, a sleeve with representational imagery for each of my closest family members hanging out on a tree. For my very skinny arm. He came back with a beautifully designed piece and it was so much fun to have done – I even brought my parents in to hang out since they were, after all, being represented as well. The folk at this shop are family-oriented and great. To this day, I’ve not gotten tattoos anywhere else, despite living all over the world. I will gladly pay for the plane ticket to return to get my ink in Ocala.

Fat Kats is amazing. It’s always clean, the artists are very knowledgeable, and the prices are more than reasonable. Dan is the best tattoo artist I’ve ever been to and I will never go to anyone else!
