I am a huge fan , and i also work there. I love the food, but more than that i love the people. I have grown up with the Fatmans family. The best crew and the best bosses on the planet. I dont say i work for them, i say i work with them. Brad and Hav will never ask anything of you that they wouldnt do themselves. The food is outstanding! I have personally seen the care, pride and love put into every dish. My favorite dishes are the fried chicken, fried and blackened catfish, fried okra and the squash casserole. The best dessert is the peanut butter pie….its O.M.G. delicious !! Stop buy, pull up a chair and enjoy…its #soulgood

The \”Fat Man\’s\” name has been a \”Augusta Household Name\” for as long as I have been alive .68 years..!!!.. Starting from humble beginnings.. as a grocery store ..building up to becoming the #1 \”Holiday Store\” with a Cafe, called the \”Pit\”… in the entire CSRA…was owned and operated by the Ursy family for a over 50 years!!! After the closing of the original store \”Fat Man\’s Mill Cafe and Catering\” was born and Brad Ursy .. along with his family .. and the \”Fat Man\’s Employee Family\” ( if you work for Fat Man\’s .. you become \”FAMILY.\”. my daughter started working with them at the age of a 17 and worked in many aspects of the company through the years.. she still does some catering events when needed.. at the age of 49!!)… has carried on the \”Fat Man\’s\” name serving the CSRA with \”GREAT FOOD\” served with \”Southern Hospitality\”!!! The food is \”Down Home\” cooking at the Mill and DELICIOUS.. just like your Grandma cooked!!!.. Their catering can go from \”Redneck\” to an \”Evening in Paris\”..\” Your WISH is their COMMAND!\” .. Brad\’s says..\”The client is ALWAYS RIGHT.. We are here to make them HAPPY!!!!\”

FatMan’s is my go-to caterer for any size event. They can handle an intimate high-end dinner for 8 to a down-home bbq for 800. I never have to worry about a thing with FatMan’s – they are always on it!
