I’ve adopted 2 Kitties from Russ, and he is wonderful from the beginning to the end of the process. He has made rescuing cats his life work, sacrificing his personal life and his time, as this is not a 9 to 5 job. Hats off to you Russ, your the cats official guardian angel

Russ does a great job with the kitties. We adopted two feral kittens when they were seven months old from East Windsor Feral Cats that are now, thanks to Russ, wonderful and happy three year old indoor cats.

Russ is an animal lover with a huge heart. He spends so much time caring for sick, injured, and neglected cats in the area. He gets them healthy and finds them loving homes. We have gotten 2 little boys from him and we couldn’t be happier!

I adopted my cat , Ron Weasley, from Russell 2 years ago. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Russ does an amazing job and works relentlessly to take care of all the cats and kittens that are referred to him. The compassion he has for these lost souls is evident in all that he does. I don\’t know what they would do without him!!

Russ and Feral Cats of East Windsor are a true gift to cats! Russ is such a caring person and has a natural gift, unbelievable patience, and positive attitude when dealing with all the cats he encounters. I adopted 3 from him and have received a lot of advice and support over the years. If you\’re looking for a kitty of any age, definitely talk to Russ.

Russ is an amazing and admirable person. His drive to help cats whether they be abandoned, given up due to circumstances or feral is above and beyond. His only concern when he was in an accident was the cats and making sure they’re taken care of. I adopted a previously feral kitten from Russ and she is simply the sweetest. Russ and Feral Cats of East Windsor are #1!

You can tell Russ is passionate about what he does. Practicing TNR, adopting out strays,surrenders and kittens , all save lives. He is a hero to very many fur babies and a great mentor and friend.

Russell Bergeron of Feral Cats of E. Windsor is an amazing guy. He works endless hours to take care of all the cats and kitties. He helped me with a colony of 10 cats and then helped a lady down the street from me with 30 cats. They are all fixed and 4 of mine are family now.

Russ from Feral Cats has been there to help this community and a many others when it comes to the education, care and compassion it needs to TNR. I trust Russ and work with him yealry. If it was not for his help we would not have been able to save so many adanfoned cats and kittens. Until we can change the laws, it is Russ the bridges that gap and assists us with many cases. He is a huge importance to the care of the Feral and making sure they don’t reproduce or spread disease. We need more like Ruff! Thank you for all you do.

I adopted one of Russell’s feral cats. He is such a love. Russ does such a great job for these cats & his community ( colony). We would consider adopting more from him if we could.. Great Job! Way to go Russ.

Feral Cats of East Windsor has done incredible work with the feral cats. From feeding them, providing shelters & spaying/neutering to getting them adopted to their forever homes. Many cats can be sick & get nursed back to health. I have helped foster many of these cats & kittens with Russell. He is doing a tremendous job for our community & for all the feral cats.

Russ took some feral kittens rescued from Bridgeport to work with. I am a fan of anyone or any group that is willing to work with feral kittens AND with feral cats in general! TNR is only way to cut down on needless euthanizing of cats & kittens due to overcrowding in shelters or increasing feral cat population. Success is my feral rescue efforts not being needed anymore..

Russ helps TNR stray, abandoned, kittens of cats not neutered. Once humanely trapped and neutered he gets adopted or feeds in their feral colonies. Its spring and he’ll soon be over run with kittens. Please help support

Awesome org that helped us trap and fix our feral cat population. Did it humanely and with total caring for the animals. Russ knows feral cats and how to handle them. Goes above and beyond to help them.

Russ, truly cares about cats. His dedication, his loyalty, and is complete passion is so evident in his rescues. Taking fair taking care of feral cats, requires a special kind of person, and he fits all those characteristics so perfectly! Feral cats are very hard to place, and he has a special heart for each and everyone of them. Therefore, that’s why I feel and I hope that he would win this award .

I wanted a kitten and every other shelter/rescue I went to refused to show me kittens until I saw their aging cats and many rescues were difficult to contact reliably. Of those I did establish contact with, most seemed disinterested in homing their cats and seemed confused when I tried to set up appointments at the shelter. I contacted Feral Cats of East Windsor on a family recommendation and got a return call that day – they showed me all of their cats a few days later. I had been so discouraged by the responses from other shelters, that Russel was such a relief. I ended up with an adult cat who had recently had kittens and absolutely love my Alice.

Russ has been great to work with over the years. He has assisted us on multiple occasions in trapping the “community cats” we have been feeding over the years. It seamed like we were calling or texting him every hour on the days we were trapping. He was always very responsive to our calls and questions. As others have said in their reviews Russ is devoted to this cause, and a savior to the “community cats”.
