I love Goshen Humane Society! I have overseen GHS for over 12 years and the animals are what keep me coming back. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for these animals….my home away from home.

I volunteer at the GHS and have never seen better care given to these cat and dogs. The dogs are walked many times each day, we’re working on teaching the dogs basic commands and unlike MANY other shelters these animals have not only AM care/feed into the afternoon, we also have hours in the evening (not usually open to the public) for walking and playing so when it’s time for bed the dogs are looking forward to bedtime 🙂 This is 5* shelter

The Goshen Humane Society is dedicated to protected homeless animals of their community. They give 24/7 and are remarkable.
Even in a blizzard the President of the shelter slept at the shelter on the floor to make sure that the animals would be properly cared for, fed, and given attention. A+++++++++++++++++++++

Goshen Humane Society is a place of second chances and family. The director, Susan Bossley, the staff, & the amazing volunteers make it feel like home and put they’re heart and soul into each and every cat and dog that comes through those doors! They make sure each cat and dog receives the best care specific to their needs and situation in addition to making sure each adopter is a good fit to provide an excellent home for they’re future forever cat/dog is a high priority to everyone apart of GHS. Once you adopt from GHS you feel apart of a big family and it’s the best feeling. Goshen Humane Society makes a difference and gives second chances full of love, compassionate, commitment and that’s what makes them stand out!

Where do I even begin? We adopted our Theo and Lily both from GHS and everytime I write something I start to cry. The president of GHS, Susan Bossley is nothing short of a superwoman. The level of care, time, effort and LOVE is undescribable. Every single animal there she knows by name and loves. The entire staff at GHS are all there for the same reason. They are compassionate people who want to see these animals become a part of a family. They do the absolute best that they can with what they are given and always put the interest of the cat or dog first. They don’t just place them in home just so they aren’t in the shelter anymore, the make sure he/she is in the right family.
Goshen Humane Society is truly an amazing establishment. Without them, our lives wouldn’t be as full as it is. If I were able to give 100 stars, I would.
