Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue is one of a kind. My husband and I experienced this fact first hand when we saw Sweet Lorraine on their website and started the adoption process. Everyone at GCCSR worked together with us to bring Lorraine to her forever home. They are quality people who work hard to find quality homes for their rescues. We can never thank them enough for bringing Sweet Lorraine into our lives!

The staff at Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue have a dedication to rescue Cocker Spaniels in need of being rehomed. They go above and beyond to find the perfect home for each dog. Stephanie Collins is a strong advocate for the breed and is kind and compassionate about the Rescue. The Rescue has a strong following thanks to the love of a little senior dog named Coffee. Coffee has brought a group of people together who might never meet each other but the bond is still great….a group known as “Coffee Nation!”

They are a wonderful rescue group! They don’t board the dogs and work with them to solve any problems the dogs have. They also take seniors! They are the rescue group I would want to take my dog if for some reason I had to give her up!!!!

GCCSR is a phenomenal group! They care so much about all the dogs they take on. They never shy away from senior dogs and give them a chance at a happy home for the rest of the pup’s life. The organization is driven by passion and love for Cocker Spaniels. I am proud to donate to and volunteer with them.

Wonderful work they do for dogs. They are caring and do so much to rescue beautiful cocker spaniels and find them homes. Miss Stephanie should be proud for all she has accomplished. I wish I could do the same. Inspiring.

I follow the work of this group, they raise funds to help Cockers of all ages. They are given first rate medical care and they don’t give up on senior dogs. They are definitely a caring, loving dedicated group of people. Doing everything they can to find loving caring forever homes for the Cockers in their care. I love following the antics of Coffee. GCCSR is one of the best rescues in the country, They take on cases regardless of how much it will cost the rescue. They pour their hearts and love into each dog and work tirelessly to place each in the perfect home. The best interest of each dog is their sole focus and every dog get love and all the medical attention they could possibly need. I have been active in the rescue world for over 10 years and would highly recommend GCCSR to anyone looking to adopt a companion or to those that need to surrender a cocker they love, knowing the dog would be well cared for and loved unconditionally until a new forever home could be located.

Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue is the best! They provide homes for dogs that animal shelters will not take due to medical or behavioral issues. The dogs receive excellent vet care and behavior training if needed. Their fan base is HUGE and is so supportive, providing the dollars and often thousands of dollars so the dogs can receive the medical care they need.

This is the best rescue group. They are thorough with all applications and placements. AND, they love all of the dogs in the program as if they were their own kids. You will never meet more selfless, loving individuals, than you will with GCCSR!!

I have been a supporter of Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue for several years. This is one of the best rescues I know of. They are very open and honest. The best interest of the dogs in their care is their top priority. I would highly recommend this rescue to anyone who is looking for a cocker spaniel.

We adopted a wonderful dog from GCCSR. They really care about finding the right home for the dogs. They had a trainer work with our dog before they determined that he was ready to be adopted. Then they had the trainer work with us and the dog once he was in our home to make sure we had a good transition. I am also so impressed with their dedication to older dogs.

Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue has one purpose! They focus on providing loving homes for Cocker Spaniels in need of homes. They accomplish this by taking care of medical, behavioral, and financial needs of each dog that comes into their care. They keep close contact with their fans by posting successes and concerns, along with funnies on their Facebook page. They carefully select people to adopt their Cocker Spaniels.I love to watch how the new dogs who come in are cared for and then adopted when their right owner is found. I also love to follow the three amigos–Coffee, Bucket, and Finny.

GCCSR is an AMAZING rescue group! They do everything thing possible to rescue Cocker Spaniels and give the best care to ones in the program. I’m proud to support such an incredible organization!

My husband & I cannot say enough about Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue & the individuals that comprise it (not to mention the dogs). We’ve had Cockers for over 30 years now & we’ve found them to be loving, fun, endearing & full of character which are just some of the traits that encourage us to make them a part of our family. We lost our dog suddenly & I got online to try to find another & this is where I happened upon GCCSR. These people are thorough, compassionate & involved with each applicant yet do not make you feel uncomfortable, yet that they’re trying to find the perfect “fit” for your family & the dog. We were blessed to receive Cookie to our family who is a beautiful black & white parti Cocker. We were told upfront she’d had some behavior issues, but were told how to handle her if they should arise & yes, true to form, she made us aware on occasion to be on our toes. This only makes us love her even more as she’s her own girl (& who wants a boring addition to your family anyway.) Any questions we have are always answered in a timely manner & they welcome ongoing contact as these dogs are part of their family always. We have had 7 Cockers in over 35 years & by far & above, Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue has surpassed any of our other rescues. We applaud all rescue organizations, but when they encourage you to not only keep in touch, ask questions, attend events, email and/or call, this is not only welcomed, but it means they genuinely care about the dog’s future being the best possible. I could go on & on, but just want to acknowledge GCCSR as the Fans Choice not just today, but forever in our books. I am so grateful to be associated with such a generous group that goes out of its way to help the dogs that others overlook – the old and the behaviorally challenged, in particular. I look at my 3 cockers every day with gratitude that GCCSR was here to save them!

Stephanie and Staff are the kindest people and love the Cocker Spaniels and all animals. Sir Coffee is the leader and has personality plus and his Amigos are true ambassadors for the cause and do good for all people and their rescue brothers and sisters. They will do anything to help

Our little bear, Paisley (a 3 y/o English Cocker Spaniel) had some major issues that we tried to deal with, but were unsuccessful. With heavy hearts, lots of praying and too many sleepless nights, we decided finding a rescue that understands him would be in his best interest. GCCSR did whatever needed to rehabilitate paisley. They even hired personal trainers to help in his rehabilitation. He’s a happy, healthy, non-anxious dog who has a beautiful, full, long and happy life ahead of him! This is my personal story, but they help so many! They are truly the best and live true to their mission statement.

I love Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue! I love the way that they don’t board the dogs. They will only use foster families, of which we are one. They truly love these beautiful animals and strive to find the forever homes that best suit the dog.
