This great group helped me with a litter of pups that I could not take care of. They reached out to me, showed me respect and patience and encouraged me to do the best thing for the pups. They have also offered to help me prevent future unwanted litters. April Madr was a great help and comfort to my daughter and I. The animals have been well cared for and are in the best place possible. Thank you HEART ❤️

HEART animal rescue is one of the best rescues I have had the pleasure of working with. April and Dawn and their team of wonderful volunteers take in all different kinds of animals including injured and sick. They get them wonderful vet care, provide them a great place to stay while waiting for their forever homes and provide them with great amounts of love to prepare them for their new families. I am a huge fan of HEART rescue and will always recommend them to people looking for a new pet to add to their family.

I am an animal lover, supporter, adopter, promoter. My heart will never rest \’UNTIL THEY ALL HAVE A HOME\’. Still, putting all these efforts forward will always \’miss the mark\’ and just seem like contrivances when compared to a devout, purposeful mission of an organization like THE H.E.A.R.T ANIMAL RESCUE INC . They indeed are \’Angels in our Midst\’s\’, never too exhausted, too crowded, too hungry, too broke or too ill-humored not to extend their huge, warm arms, vet resources, and yes, their own personal spaces (homes, beds, couches) to \’just one more\’ ….oops.. ….middle of night \’mom\’ surprise…… scoot over, humans…..another few puppies to love!\” Nothing but a \’Heartfelt\’ passion for their calling could fuel this kind of physical and emotional endurance – 24/7 !

The work this group does comes from their hearts. They not only rescue animals that have been neglected, abused, sick or swept away by society, but they rescue the hearts of those they help with food and vet assistance, the donations of money and time to families and other rescues. This organization is top notch in devotion to the education of spaying/neutering of strays and family pets as well as the benefits of fostering, sponsoring and promoting a good fit for families and pets alike. The network of people in this organization also help locate lost family pets by posting to social media, word of mouth and physically going to locales and shelters to either search for or pick up reported abandoned pets. H.E.A.R.t. goes the extra mile to ensure lost/abandoned/sick animals find the forever family they deserve.

This Rescue is one of the most heart felt people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. One thing that always made my Heart feel good is if they rescued a litter of puppies their Motto no Mommie left behind.. they take the whole family.

HEART Animal Rescue goes above and beyond helping shelter pets and needy families in our area.

Ever since I first learned of H.E.A.R.T. Animal Rescue, I have been in awe of all the efforts this family puts forth to make things happen, sometimes at a moment\’s notice, for the animals in need. They help families in need so that they don’t have to give up their companion animals; they constantly do fundraisers and help in the community; they work hard to make sure spay/neuter programs are implemented and stand behind the importance of these programs; they work closely with the animal shelters in the area, as well as other rescues. Our family has been blessed by this organization when we were hit by hard times. Last year, a death in our family found us needing to make the trip to get family dogs we’d always promised to care for all their days if their owners could no longer do so due to terminal illness, or death. They were no longer residing as close to us as they’d been for years. I am disabled, but had an injury where I couldn’t even walk, much less bring back 2 little dogs driving cross country alone. H.E.A.R.T.’s president made that journey with me, helping to take care of me on the way out, then taking care of the 3 of us all the way back. Without her traveling with me, this would have been impossible, and we were the last constant these little ones had known from their arrival in the family. They were so tickled to see me when I reached them… and ready to go when asked “who wants to go home with me?”. I thank God for these beautiful people and all they have done!

HEART IS a wonderful rescue. They do so much for the community for spay and neuter. They take in all kinds animals from shelters and literally off the streets and work hard to find the best homes for each one. They are awesome!
