Jacob took some pictures we gave him and drew up a few great images for my best friend and I. He listened to what we had talked about and it really showed in his work. We had a good time chatting and checking out the shop while we each took our turn. He is meticulous about having his setup clean, and that’s amazing. I look forward to being back in town again so I can have him do another piece for me!! Totally worth the drive!!

Hands down the best shop around. Jacob has tattooed my torso and arm while opening his shop in cda. He offers a very professional and sanitary enviorment, keeping up to date on health and safety laws for a tattoo shop. He’s very efficient with his 20 years experience. Aesthetically there’s no other shop likes his from here to Seattle. Cda has never seen a shop like Heart City before.

Jacob was amazing to work with as my best friend and I were really limited on our time window and Jacob accommodated us extremely well. Jacob got us in with his guest artist Cody.
My best friend and I were incredibly impressed with our entire experience. Cody was extremely talented and very personable. We are quite the particular pair when it comes to details and placement and Cody not only rolled with our multiple placement discussions, but offered his expert opinion and was careful to be sure that we both were very certain of position prior to getting started. During both tattoos he engaged us in friendly conversation and was genuinely a funny guy. Many times when you work with an Artist, they are not always as personable and talented- it’s usually one or the other.
Thank you again for getting us an appointment in your beautiful shop! We couldnt be happier with the end result and with the experience as a whole. You’ve got a great guest artist in Cody

Jacob is a very talented artist and is so knowledgeable in the world of tattooing. I appreciate that knowledge, and his dedication to making every aspect of the experience better– including making his own ink and machines. I brought him a concept with fear of having to leave some of the things I wanted out, but not only did I get everything and more that I wanted, it is a beautiful piece better than I envisioned. He is great at working with you to get you what you want while also being a professional, showing honesty in what can work and what just can’t. He won’t let you walk away with a bad tattoo, even if it’s exactly what you think you want! Which is a value not many tattoo artists have! Currently continuing a leg sleeve with him!

Jacob is by far the best Japanese artist I’ve come across. He has done several tattoos on me, a 3/4 Japanese Phoenix sleeve, a fill in Japanese octopus, and an awesome old school owl chest piece. He is the utmost professional, but is also one of the most solid people I’ve met. I drive 7 hours each way to get work done from him and it’s worth every second. Can’t say enough good things about this great artist. Constant referrals have sent a couple people his direction, even though he’s not local. Anybody looking for “that artist” would do well to give Jacob a chance to blow your mind with his talent!

Jacob does awesome work. He listens and makes the design much better. Having spent 25 hours on a sleeve with him, I have gotten to know him pretty well and have been amazed at the fantastic work he does. Bonus-he’s a great guy and a fantastic artist. A righteous dude with a positive attitude.
