This is by far the best pizza in town! Great, fresh ingredients, from the handmade pizza dough, to the pizza sauce! Brisket pizza is really good too if you are looking for something a little different!

This place is an awesome reminder of Austin’s raving Love for everything musical. Delicious, cheap and massive slices are paired with the most underground of metal. I’m not sure I could ask for anything else.

Hoeks is always my first stop after a good show or when I need a good bite to eat. They usually have pepperoni and jalapeno ready to go, which is petty awesome. The environment is sick, kung fu or star ways always playing on the tv and metal blasting so loud you can’t hear anything else. Staff is always friendly. Love this place

For almost 10 years Hoeks has been my go to for a quick bite to eat downtown. If you can catch it, be sure to try their Brisket Pizza or an Extra Large slice of Pep!

Hoeks death metal pizza is hands down the best pizza on 6th st. Everytime I make a trip downtown or to come and take it live where they opened a food truck location I always HAVE to have a slice of this amazing god like substance

If there was ever a place that is more Austin than Hoek’s Death Metal Pizza, I wouldn’t believe you. I have walked from one end of sixth to the other just to go to this pizza place. I have forsaken all others as my soul belongs to this monstrous beast of a pizza place. Heavy Metal and Pizza go together like Devil Horns and Bad Tattoos. I need to get a shirt already….

I love Hoek’s!! The pizza is amazing, large portions, and very reasonably priced. As if the delicious food wasn’t enough, the atmosphere and staff are always happy to be there and serve you awesome Pizza!!! Hoek’s is a staple in the downtown Austin scene!!

Hoek’s is my go to pizza place on 6th street. The staff is so friendly and always makes you feel like you’re part of the family. Their pizza slices are huge, and packed full of tasty morsels! Hoek’s is the death metal unicorn of downtown Austin walk up pizza joints.
