My husband and I had just bought our home so we thought how great it would be to adopt a dog and give him a forever home, so that we did. Our BEAUTIFUL boy was an old English bull dog who was bought to the humane society to be put down due to his alements the people there at the humane society worked hard In saving this young dogs life and they succeeded……. At the age of 1 we were able to bring him home . He gave us 10 more WONDERFUL years Tiger was his name . Tiger knew what LOVE was, he was an amazing boy very smart always willing to please us anyone that met him fell in love with him. 2 months ago we had to send Tiger over the rainbow bridge, he had a deteriorating disease in his spine. I am telling all of this because tomorrow we are giving another dog a forever home THANKS to THE HUMANE SOCIETY in DARTMOUTH Ma. And ALL who work so very HARD there.

My daughters go to the summer camp here. They look forward to it all year. The staff is great with the animals and the kids .

Oh my goodness where do I start. Well, the first time we meet was to board our fur kid Dakota who fell in love with all because the treated him so well. Next we adopted our Angel who was afraid of the world so badly abused but when she visited to board too omg timid at first then watch out she cried as soon as we got there she had to run in. Then we adopted Ranger and all 3 went to board. The boys passed and we got a call a little one in need of a home so we too Angel over and came home with a foster our Luna we then adopted her she goes every year to board of just to visit and take pictures she just loves everyone and how she is treated just as if she belongs to them all. They do wonderful work to help all the fur kids find homes treat them all so well. Sorry I can’t say enough about them. Thank You

I found the most affectionate cat by pure accident..He picked me and has been the best addition to our home. My dog also gets groomed there..They always always take good care of our needs. The staff is awesome as well. Arianna is very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend them for any services. I know my animals are in great hands. I chose them to put my dog to sleep because I know they are the best

Adopted a dog from this shelter two years ago and still take him there for boarding and grooming. My daughter loves to visit because she always gets to meet new animals. The staff is caring, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. We’ve also been to several birthday parties there and they always offer just the right balance of education and fun. The staff are great with kids. I can’t recommend this shelter highly enough.

I have adopted a kitten from this shelter and fostered numerous kittens as well, this shelter has such wonderful opportunities for children to be involved in the animals life’s by their summer camp as well as annual fundraisers. They always try their best to satisfy every person who walks through their doors as well as doing what’s best for their animals!

I adopted a puppy from the Humane Society. It was a wonderful experience! The puppy was healthy and happy and we are so fortunate to have her! I have recommended them to friends that are looking to adopt.
