I got my rescue, Nina our Doberman/Rottweiler, about 4 years ago. We love her to pieces still today. The staff were the greatest, the animals are so well cared for and fully ready for a home such as shots and medical needs. Our Nina came to them from a hurricane. They took such good care of her, then a scared puppy. I would never hesitate to adopt from them again.

Jackson County Humane Society is the place to go for your pet if you want friendly, helpful help selecting your pet. I got my loveable dog Roxy there. She was under vet care at the time, but is now a bundle of love and energy. She is super smart and friendly; sometimes I think she is Velcro as she wants constant love and security. I would love to get her a playmate and another dog for me to spoil.

Our Jackson County Humane Society is a friendly no-kill shelter for homeless dogs and cats. With open arms and a big heart they except animals in need not only from our own county but also over-crowded, high- kill shelters euthinizing is a given. The staff at this small mid-west shelter is very successful at giving these beautiful animals the vet care and grooming needed to allow them to begin a new journey in their lives. “Living happily ever after” is the goal with a “furever” loving home …Thanks to the devoted folks who work and volunteers feet their time!

I got my best friend from the shelter. It has been many years and she has since passed away but I would gladly go and get another pet from the shelter. The shelter takes care of his animals like they are their own and do their very best to place the animals with loving caring homes.

We got our sweet Georgia from the Jackson County humane society a few years ago. She is the best dog we have ever had! We are so proud of this shelter for all they do to help dogs in other states.

when my sister passed away last year and left some 20 dogs, the jackson co humane soc was there the day of the funeral. they helped us get the dogs to their facility and found homes for all the animals. they were the best and i will never forget. thank you
