The Khyber Pass is more than just an Afghan restaurant. It is a cornerstone of the local community, and has been for decades. It is family-owned and the owners, Emel & Masooda take great care to make sure clients get only the best ingredients & authentic foods, which are rather unique foods compared with most other Saint Paul restaurant offerings. The menu caters toward myriad diets including vegetarians & vegans, all of whom will enjoy a number of delicious experiences. But, it\’s not just the food that makes the Khyber Pass special, it is the relationship that Emel & Masooda builds with you. They are extremely knowledgeable & professional while giving you friendly and personalized service. Furthermore, I have been fortunate to see a number of local and international musical acts there, most of which you just won\’t see anywhere else. As a huge fan of music, like so many others in the community, this music is a huge benefit that the Khyber Pass provides mostly just for the benefit of the local community.
