I am a local burlesque producer, with a monthly show at Legion. I’m a huge fan of the venue, in terms of location, appearance and staff. Legion is easy to get to from most of Brooklyn and lower Manhattan, which is very appealing to a lot of my fanbase. The warm interior has a lot of character and charm, which I always appreciate in a bar. And lastly, Legion has exceptional staff. The bartenders are friendly and quick, and the management are very good about working with me to get what I need for my shows. All in all, it’s a great venue and deserves to be rewarded.
