I have adopted 2 dogs from the Lewis County Animal Shelter. I have also volunteered to walk the dogs (and give the cats attention) on and off over the years, and the staff has always shown how much they care. I love this place!

I have visited this shelter for over 20 years. I have taken home two dogs during that time. I enjoy visiting the shelter to see and talk with the pets, walk some and visit with the staff. It\’s always clean and organized. The staff is friendly. I take simple donations as I have them. Nice friendly place. Now that there are so many rescues and fostering programs I know euthanasia is down here and that really pleases me.

I have been in Washington 16 years And supported them from the start. I got my dog Snickers from there 6 years ago and he is my best buddy since my husband passed away. They try there hardest to find owners of dogs and get others adopted as soon as possible. They share needs and animals on Facebook every day and I send them on hoping for an owner or someone to see their faces and come adopt them!
