It’s simple. Great food, great service and great owners/staff. Whether takeout or eat in everything is always excellent. We have plenty of pizza/Italian restaurants up the street from us but I gladly drive 15-20 mins one way to go to MARIOS. It is well worth it.

Mario’s is absolutely the best Italian restaurant in CT — not only for their great pizza, but all their food. We are treated like family by everyone who works there. Hats off to Vinny and Christina for the genuine warmth they extend to all their customers. They provide the very best pizza with your choice of thin, regular, or thick crust and their toppings are innovative, as well as having the standard like Noni made. The restaurant itself is very cozy and spotless.

They have the absolute best pizza in Connecticut! Marios pizza is way better than Pepe’s. Not only can you get your choice of thin, regular or thick crust, they are always coming up with interesting topping combinations. They make the best bruschetta pizza I’ve ever tasted.
