I found Modern Beauty online a couple years back when I wanted to try a new hair trend called “oil slick” and they were one of the few who had done it in Buffalo. Jen nailed it the first time I tried it and Megan perfected it my 2nd time as well. My third time there, I wanted a whole new look which Megan did superbly on too. I have never been to a hair salon where I have felt more comfortable and understood than I do at Modern Beauty.

Jen Hoffman is an amazing artist, and surrounds herself with talent equal to hers. I have all different lengths, from past shoulders to pixie, I’ve had highlights and lowlights done, and even some bright colors. I come in with an idea of what I want (always changes), Jen will offer her opinion if she thinks tweaking is needed based on shape of face, and thickness of hair etc. I trust Jens opinion, she wants every woman to recognize their beauty, she is professional, talented, and an amazing artist! Whenever I am stopped and asked who does my hair, I’m always quick to share her name and phone number!
