Dental implants – when teeth are extracted or missing, replacement is necessary to maintain the smile. Patients seeking a permanent, easy solution are welcome to ask about dental implants. Invisalign – orthodontic treatment with metal brackets and wires are often avoided by patients because of their appearance and discomfort. Partial dentures replace one or more teeth in an arch with an oral appliance made with medical-grade acrylics and metal, while full dentures are for addressing the entire arch with an acrylic appliance. Bridges – instead of dentures or dental implants, some patients decide to move forward with dental bridges for tooth replacement. Bridges are restorations made from false teeth called pontics fused to dental crowns. The entire restoration is bonded over the teeth adjacent to the gap for support to “bridge the space” left behind by a missing tooth or teeth.
